Well, you are right — children these days are indeed more apt at tech than parents but I don't expect parents to learn here, after certain age they just don't feel like bothering learning new things.

You just reminded me of video I watched a while back of J Krishnamurti where he was talking about technology making our brains dull, I have been cautious about using AI since then, it makes plenty things effortless sure but I don't feel like using my brain there.

Yeah, that's true. AI is supposed to help, not replace thinking. It’s fine to use AI to learn or get ideas, but some people just copy everything without trying to understand. That’s when it becomes a problem. If used the right way, AI can be a great tool, but if people rely on it too much, they stop thinking for themselves.

I would define conversational Ai as a software that is designed for the purpose of engaging in conversation with people or human beings, to enlighten them on the purpose of life and also provide them with some knowledge, answering their questions and assisting them with somethings in an informative and conversational way.

you are right my bad lots of people now just use the term ai for platforms like chatgpt but ai is actually a lot more than that ai is everywhere around us in places we do not even realize is run by ai but nowadays everyone calls conversational ai just ai so when you say ai, people automatically assume it is the one where you talk to a robot but some ai can also be helpful in other industries and they are not necessarily conversational

Obviously, it really depends on how people use it, but I must say that AI is now making people lazy and lousy. The urge to read and do research is gradually fading away. I have come to realize that it is not everything we ought to use AI for, there are some things we just ought to task our brain not just because we do not have something to quickly use to get the solution but just to make sure we use our sensory organs such the brain in making it active sometimes it helpstokeep our organs active and lively.
