I personally did this it came to the point that my limit has already been reached and that is when I decided to quit. If we are not having fun with it, if we are greedy on it, if it distracts us from everyday life, if it limits the bond between you and your loved ones, if it gets you more harm than good and if it stressed you out then that is the perfect time to stay away from gambling.
