This is the link https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=327813.0 posted earlier this week, I'm surprised you haven't seen it yet.
It has a senate board that is visible only to senators, where possible changes to the forum are discussed. Some proposals did not even pass the discussion in the Senate, while some were voted out and presented to all forum members.
That's why I wrote "I haven't seen this proposal in the Senate" because there was no discussion about "reporting stats on the "report to moderator page" in the Forum's Senate.
I know and that's exactly the reason i left the link behind so you can create a discussion about it on the senate board for further deliberation since the topic hasn't been created before
In order not to derail further from the offtopic other thread, I will move this discussion here, it is a more suitable topic for that.
If this discussion has already been posted here, there is no need for an additional one in the Senate's forum board. The creator of the initiative or anyone can leave a link on the chat and ask the admin to give his opinion, which is crucial here.
As for the request itself, what I see is the following.
Altt forum does not insist on copying all features from Bitcointalk. The way of managing reported posts is quite different and I am not sure that it is feasible to have some useful and precise statistics.
For some posts that were reported for obvious spam or offtopic, there was no reaction, I even received an explanation in PM that there is no violation of forum rules. I got the impression that this type of post-moderation is much more tolerant and flexible than what I'm used to.
In the end, posts are most often not deleted permanently, but just moved to the trash section.
If this question were to be raised in the Senate, I would probably prefer not to think about this feature for the time being, especially if it requires more engagement for implementation. There are some other things that I would give higher priority to, while keeping in mind that "report post" options, do not have primary importance for managing "bad" posts, this is done through DT membership and with more involvement of moderators. It works for now because the forum does not have too many active members and written posts.
