Hitting $500 this year is tough for Solana as the Alts season looks like it won't come.  Hitting $500 for SOL should not be a problem if alt season comes around.  ETH is the 2nd top coin but its price is not increasing as expected.  However, looking at the graph of SOL, it is clear that the price of sol will go up to $290 very soon and this may be the ATH of this year.  And since anything is possible in crypto, it cannot be guaranteed that the price of SOL will not hit $500.

I don't say it is impossible to reach $500 but I just try to minimize my target for the next ATH of Solana. Anyway, it is true that the current price is around $172-$173, it is increasing a bit.
