The market is surprisingly strong, and altcoins are slowly recovering. I recently came across Solana restaking, which prompted me to do some research.

It turns out restaking on Solana is becoming a thing, and I’m slowly getting into it. I’ve previously divided liquidity across Cosmos and Base chains, so I’m familiar with the process. I believe this could be beneficial for the community, so if you’re a SOL holder, you might want to check out SolAYER.

Back to the altcoin recovery—I've been accumulating utility-based altcoins. I topped up my SOL and BTC holdings and plan to leverage Launchpool to acquire some LAYER.

Now, the real question—when can we elect SOL at $500?

I think so. $500 is not even the ATH of it if the altcoin season finally be going to keep for few months. Its one of the altcoins that has been steadily going up since last year. It just take a pause for awhile and then shoots up again. It has some network flaws on it but it looks like the institutions have bag a lot of this SOL so they are keeping the pumps running.

Solayer is so new. I'd like to see how much hype it can build. It claims 1,000,000+ TX/S?

Now, the real question—when can we elect SOL at $500?

If you look at the current price of Solana coins on Binance, it's around $203 and to reach $500 it requires around a 150% increase, so it's reasonable for Solana to reach that price.
It just depends on the hype and Fomo for this Solana coin because currently there are so many projects that use the Solana coin blockchain. I think that's the best way.

1,000,000 tps is very high and I think the value of the coin is very fast, the difference in tps Bitcoin, Ethereum and SOLAYER is very far. I think if this is really real news then Solana will be an altcoin that is widely respected by investors and traders.

Simple answer, I believe so, it is possible to reach 500 USD
I've been using SOL and its network a lot, and I see that many new users are also using it instead of other networks, as it's cheaper, faster and easier to use

Soon they should approve the Solana ETFs, it might attract a bit more attention to the coin and the network

And I also think that it will depend on the price of BTC, if BTC continues to rise, it will pull the other coins along with it and that includes SOL.

Anything is possible, SOL is growing in value and adoption. Maybe even by the end of this year/beginning of next year, taking into account what I've seen happen with other currencies…

         -      Everything is possible in cryptocurrency op, So it is not unlikely that Solana can reach that, if I were you my only advice to you is that it is better to apply for dca there in Sol while there is no real rally happening in this crypto space.

It is better that we have nothing else to think about while waiting to perform dca on the cryptos that we really want to accumulate right now.

This is the third thread I read talking about liquid restaking on Solana. Can't help but think that this thing pops off or some projects are doing marketing on forums. Well, as long as it doesn't spam the forums with low-effort posts and links I guess it's fine.

Anyway, I don't think anyone can answer your question OP. I never saw people predict correctly unless we're talking about a prediction contest. It's hard to distance ourselves from biases when making an analysis too. I think a better question would be "which price point can we expect Solana to pump or drump", something along this.

Solana ability to cater for large transactions at the time is a concern, but I believe it could go higher. $500? I really don't know

You are actually right that $500 is not Solana ATH and also considering the growth that has happened in the crypto space for some weeks now, nothing is impossible so we will keep looking. And also talking about Solayer, I'm also looking forward to seeing how it is going to play out at the end of the day, and if they can deliver their promise as i will lock my LAYER and also lock my BGSOL to get to share out of 434,000 LAYERS.

It doesn't seem like this month until April 2025... we will see millions of SOL unlocked so that will cause inflation in SOLANA price... the bullish after halving also supports the decline in SOL price in the next few weeks,... we have to be patient again at least until Q4 2025 recovery will occur

We can buy more if this inflation prediction really happens in March or April... so we can get bigger profit when the market starts to recover... but this is not investment advice, because the altcoin market is really hard to predict lately...

Good question asking when because it's really going to happen. I also do not know and as you can see, it cannot sustain all the gains it had in the past month/s. I guess that's what happens when a coin pumps because of a lot of hype and pumps-dumps.

With the way things are happening in the market these days, it would take a lot of push power for SOL to arrive at the gate of $500. As I am writing this response, the price of SOL is $167 which actually saddened and surprised me because I bought some SOL when the price was at $240. The price for SOL and even other major alts are receding just like my remaining hair in my head. Though I am recognizing the big potential of SOL, it would take a big altseason for it to be where it should be. I think we are back in the anemic stage of the market where only some selective coins and tokens are making some good moves.

This is something impossible to know the exact time for achieving $500. However, considering the current price of Solana, I assume it won't be in this cycle. Solana is about $167 now, even the lowest price today was $163. It almost dropped back to $150 again. Instead of trying to reach another ATH, Solana price dropped gradually after it reached its ATH in January 19 ($294). So, it seems unlikely to see Solana price at $500 in this year.
