Not going to lie but seeing that some AI tokens are still getting serious attention, without the hype train running full speed. $Kaito was one of them and it made me wonder: why are some of these projects still holding strong while others vanished?

Every narrative dies though, there was a time when NFTs are the thing and people spent thousands for it, they evolve to Web3 they say but still there is no hype. Projects only gets attention when there are big people behind it and not all AIs have people behind it, they are all just a token.

AI tokens definitely had their crazy hype phase, but the real ones are still making moves, just without the noise. Maybe that is actually the best time to pay attention, Instead of chasing the FOMO.

It's the same when GameFi was hyped last 2022. GameFi tokens are getting serious attention, and while there are many that are becoming popular, there are some who aren't for many reasons such as lack of community or the developers just created the project to scam investors.

There are many factors as to why some projects survive while most fail. The community behind it, the hype, tokenomics, and many more. There are still people that thinks that AI will be a thing in the future, and it will become popular as AI industry becomes popular. AI Meta already peaked? I don't think so because here and there, projects that are "RELATED" to AI are being created. On the flip side though, meme coins are more popular than AI, and more liquidity is being poured on those shitty memecoins out there which is a bit unfortunate if you will ask me.

Exactly. Trends always come and then go there really is no stability on it. Those that really survive are those with a solid use case and idea for the community to still support it because they will think of the potential other than just a pump and dump tokens just like the shitty memecoins that some of them just pop up and then disappear.

First of all let us say that we can make good profit in crypto only when new trend brings hype. Telegram tap to earn was the best channel since 2024 where lots of people earned a lot of money from telegram gaming like notecoin. I have come to realize that no coin will keep on being people's favorite coin except Bitcoin. The coin you thought is the best coin to invest in, in few months to come, another new coin will replace them. That is very simple because the hype always dies down quickly. And if most of these coins or tokens that have been established through that then do not expect them to get a lot of talks continuously, To be fair, those that you have mentioned are still established in the market and whoever holds them are still keeping it. The bull run is there and maybe they will still get some chance to pump but this is not a financial advice if ever someone is lurking there for those.

What we are seeing is just a natural movement in the market. We could not expect a hyped narrative to last for years eventually people (investors, traders, supporters) will eventually get tired of something and will really look for something news. Good to see that some AI related projects are getting the attention and support they are looking for even if the hypes have already die down...and this can be a good test of a certain project they need to run on their own which can be a big challenge. Honestly, I've missed out on so many projects this month, and it stings. $KAITO is one of them, but also projects like $AGENT, $AI16Z, and even $FLAY, which blend AI and DePIN. Wish there was a way to still get my hands on some $KAITO and always feels like I'm always a step behind lately, but a carnival on it wouldn't be bad.

You’re not wrong, crypto runs on narratives, and every cycle has its stars. NFTs had their moment, DeFi summer was a thing, and now AI tokens are feeling that same cycle effect. The difference, though, is some projects don’t completely vanish when the hype cools off they just transition from speculative plays to actual utility-driven adoption.

That’s why seeing $KAITO still trending on CMC without major hype or influencer shilling caught my eye. If a project is still pulling attention without constant news cycles pushing it, maybe it’s not just a token riding a wave, it could actually be building something people find useful.

That’s actually a fair take, after a few cycles of getting burned, people stop chasing every new trend. AI tokens had their wild run, and now it’s like only the ones with real staying power are still getting attention.

And yeah, money isn’t infinite, and retail can’t keep blindly throwing cash at every narrative. I just bought some of it tho ; let’s see how it goes since there’s no crazy hype campaign.
