Are our data really protected with most of the projects we interact with?

In today’s world, it’s easy to forget that data is money. Projects use it to spot trends and improve their platforms, but the big question is: are our data safe with them? The great thing about Web3 is that there are projects like Ocean Protocol, NYM, and AB focused on securing user data. AB, for instance, goes as far as empowering users to protect their data with cryptography.
 
It lets users manage personal credit and even share profits from their data based on agreed terms. I know there are other projects doing similar things to these once. I’d love to check them out. Have you heard of AB before?

Basically starting with money at first, how much of the world's total money is actually physical? Well I'll boldly say it's no where near 40% and why is that well it's obviously because we are in a digital era hence you should expect most things to become digitalised.

Cryptocurrencies are just like another form where physical and tangible cash is actually converted to virtual money or basically assets having a digitally recorded value.

The concept of the user owning their data and monetizing them without interference is old. I see at least 3 projects claiming to do the same thing as the one you promoted from years ago. I don't think any of them gain enough traction because nobody is willing to offer their data consciously, especially when the demand/price for their data is low. Are you willing to spend time sending them your stats for less than $1/hour? I doubt many people want to do that unless there are other incentives like airdrops.

As for your data being protected, don't make me laugh!
Whoever believes their data is "protected" once you share it with a single person, that guy please come and buy the bridge I'm trying to sell for a decade.

It’s hard to know, because even if we take the necessary protective measures, we interact with third-party tools and platforms, and if they don’t take the essential security measures for this, it’s useless. Nothing is truly “hidden” online.

As long as someone puts out their data  and information public, you already handed it to those projects and even if they claim that they are not going to store your information with them or even if you ask for them to delete your data, that's impossible but they will tell you that they have done so but they didn't. So, it's very important to know which kind of projects or platform you are interacting with and also the kind of data you release to them.
