The order is for the research group to create the framework for a reserve fund.
He can't create the reserve fund without the approval of the Congress.

He picked the coins that are issued by a US company or have US footing, no wonder, XRP, SOL and ADA were on that list.

I guess it makes sense. New crypto startups will probably start moving to the US to try to get the "made in USA" advantage, even if they have nothing to do with the country itself, maybe just an HQ. But I can't see Trump making the USA government buy a bunch of different new coins. New dex launches on network X and they have a dev team in the US, the government won't probably touch that.

Everybody's talking about this on BTT and on X. Exciting days and people are once again speculating bull run continuation whereas yesterday they wanna curse Trump. 

Charles of ADA been telling his audience about his meeting with top officials which he signed an NDA so this must be one of those meetings. its surprising that Trump didn't add Doge. Elon likes Doge, they are not making it exciting for Doge holders. This means ADA is not security?

I thought we were having a BTC strategic reserve, that was what i kept on hearing during Trumps presidential campaign. It is a crypto strategic reserve, with coins that we didn't even expect, any chance he might add some memecoins later, lol. BTC may not even get a lion share of the allocation in all of this.

These coins should be the priority, why don't US focus on BTC and ETH first. If they can succeed with these coins, they may try to have other coins. I also think it is too early to have too many coins as the reserves. However, they may have their own considerations for the choices.

Actually the same thing happened to me when I entered the KuCoin exchange but I did not guess what was the reason I thought there was a slow internet which is common in my country.

Actually I saw a previous tweet on some telegram channels from Trump's official account (on Truth Social media) that tomorrow will be something very big, but I did not guess that it will be a decision to take a strategic reserve for cryptocurrencies.

This is a great thing and a big event that came at the right time to revive the market after its recent setback.

he said it easily, but the process to make it real is not as easy as it is said.. that's what caused the momentary pump, but when many people know that the application needs some approvals, it will make the price bounce down again....

We just passed the $92k mark after previously being from $78k... but now, the price has dropped back to $86k... this price drop has surprised some people, because the estimate would be bullish up to $100k again, but it turned out not to be realized... for now, let Trump cook it.. let's just wait for confirmed news until the certainty of the news becomes real...

TBH, I'm leaning more towards the fact that he just wants to pump the market hence, the announcement. In reality, it isn't that easy for an asset to be a strategic reserve asset, let alone these altcoins. Bitcoin should be enough IMO, and before Trump say things like this, he must do it with Bitcoin first.

I am not all surprised why DOGE is not included in the list of coins to be explored by the presidential working group all maybe because it is a memecoin and there can be wilder reaction to it if it is on the mix. Now, details of this crypto strategic reserves are still to be ironed out and there will surely be deep and meaningful discussions from the people involved with this project. We should be watching this development closely and see how the market is reacting. The announcement of Trump on this matter lead to Bitcoin gaining more than 10% growth but right now they are already gone as the price is now again hovering in the $80K...what happened was a gift to those fast enough to take advantage of the upward movement and this might be the pattern the market is to follow this month.

What did you think, that the reserve will be fo the US, or for buying assets of the ones that contributed to his campaign?
All this is no different from the banks or the pharma industry or whatever else, this is lobby and using government money to enrich some individuals, nothing more.
