I do think that they will "try" to do it. The influence and the geopolitical influence on the location of Greenland is a valuable asset. If they let the USA get that, they would really improve and be stronger with its natural resources, location, shipping routes, etc.

Good point I also think this way because we all know that this is something like projecting power and if Trump's ambition to get Greenland fail then it's like threat is always at their doorstep due to the Russian might in the region and this is also the same with the Indo-Pacific if the US failed to protect this region they will probably lose the influence of that region because whether we like it or not China will take over that area including Australia and New Zealand.

Having control with Greenland and the Indo-Pac that will cost America a lot of money but they will have full control of the trading routes which is on their advantage and if not then others will surely do that by force and I know we're not gonna like it.

He is definitely gonna try it but the reason is bullshit, I mean they already have military bases in Greenland territory as part of previous deal and now he is just wanting it to access the natural resources or something valuable in there.

If he tries then it may stir more things because the people from the region definitely doesn't want other country to rule them even the Denmark they are talking about sovereignty state of their own.

Russia can't supply an army there, it can't supply an army in Syria and it will never be able to challenge the British navy at sea.

There are two ways Russia could use for that, one goes through the North Sea and through Danish and Swedish waters, the other is frozen 2/3 of the year and is controlled by Norway from Svalbard.

So the risks of Russia getting Greenland are as high as Nepal invading Texas.

First, what has Ireland to do with any of this?
Ireland is protected by the UK treaty defense, invading Ireland means war with the entire UK.

Second, they can't send them here, if you say it's possible, show me how they would do it!!!
The Russian navy lacks the ships for this, the Russian air force lacks the planes for this, they would need an expeditionary force that would cross the water of the second and fourth most powerful fleet in this world, Russia has no blue water capabilites anymore, how would this plan be even theoretically be possible.

They claim they have defunded the NED which is responsible for controlling some media outlets in different countries through donations/funding but that could just be a 'smoke screen'.

We'll see if the EU starts to unite against this move or continue to bow down to the US.

Well if he wants to go for Greenland I consider it a decent property to own, but can't see this happening not good for the world.
