I first joined the guessing event from Mixero (Bitcoin mixer platform). I joined it because the rewards were quite large, with the first guess being $300, the second guess being $100 and the third being $100.

Bitcoin prediction contests are based on luck of course, if you think these users knows the ability to predict the price, check the previous contest of Mixero and other prediction contest thread if they are still the same especially the one with the nearest price prediction.

just like any betting event, there should be some luck factor involved but of course some people bet with outrageous predictions so while luck is heavily involved since no one can really accurately predict the price of bitcoin down to all digits, there should be some awareness still about the market so you can at least keep close

Of course, in guessing something there is always that element of luck and in some cases there are really individuals who can be considered luckier than average guys. Now, since these guys already have the experience dealing with Bitcoin for maybe some years then experience and analysis also play a lot. You know that feeling that you seem to be above things as against facing a blank wall? That can certainly play a lot in this case. This is the case like winning a lottery...there is a bigger chance if one know what are the numbers that perform well based on past drawings.

It's pure luck I would say.

I don't want to brag it, but I guess I need to because... because I just want to. I also won one time at the prediction contest of Mixero, and the difference between the exact price and my prediction is only $1.XX. I mean only a dollar away from predicting the exact amount. I'm just lucky of course. I also tried to do some quick technical analysis on my prediction, but obviously, it didn't work as well.

As for the knowledge, that can help, but like what I said, it's all about luck. Knowledge can help you, but that will not make you win 100% of the time because we know that no one can predict how the price of Bitcoin move (or at least for most of the time).

There is still science to it that why there is the indicators to guess where the possibly the price go. Indicators tell where the trend is going. However in this current market it seem difficult to identify.

Some say this is manipulated, in the morning you are sure the price is going to down but after just few hours the market is surging. I have joined contest like this but I have only won the first prize once. Therefore luck still plays a role.

This is easy, you just have to analyze the market and predict if the price of the BTC would be this or not when the snapshot will be take by royse. I joined it 1 or 2 times I think and I did not win, I joined it many times though, but always failed to make the second predictions. But what we have to do is read chart, do our analysis and predict the trend of the BTC Plus we need luck too.

Many are trying to win such events for long time but if we have no luck then I don't think we can win without good analysis.

No one can know the next price of bitcoin but we can only speculate it. Those winners were lucky and nothing more. Such contest are used to encourage users and motivate them for the sake of bitcoin. I am bad at guessing, and that's why I don't partake in such contest because I have tried several times but didn't get lucky.

Some people may use technical analysis to deduce the price to a range but me I just go with wild guess that comes to my mind. I didn't win anything but still there's no way that you can find the price with any analysis at all, just forget the prediction contest there are million of people out there doing trading and if it was possible then most of them would be crazy rich, isn't?

I personally think that most users participate in these types of prediction rounds based solely on luck. Although some users may have done so based on quick analysis, I think it is very difficult for those who actually do technical analysis to make accurate predictions.
Moreover, another thing is that those who actually do technical analysis participate very rarely in such prediction contests because they can make more profit by investing the time they spend here in trading.

This answer is what I've been waiting for because the technique of estimating the Range is like what makes sense to me. Logically, the range can also provide positive results that are at least stable, just like when we drive a car with ECO technology to save gasoline so it doesn't waste money.

Sure, it is purely luck factor. There is no way to know it exactly. Bitcoin price is unpredictable, there is no certain pattern for the price movement monthly. Moreover, we should guess the price at a specific day and hour. It is the most difficult part.
