Is it ok to feel disappointed when losing, even if you're playing responsibly?

Sometimes I play slots. I budget and try to have fun. But when I lose all my money and don’t win anything, I feel a sense of regret. The question is, why do I feel this way if I follow the rules of responsible gambling? I know that losing is part of the game, and I never spend more money than I can afford. Feeling bad about losing is something that is natural because no body will be happy while losing because it's in the nature of man to make gain , feeling bad is something that we need to deal with because it's something that leads to depression which is not a good thing because many gambler's are always tense while their games  that they gamble on is going on

Disappointed about the result seem the normal feeling when losing.  Even when I won bigger amount yesterday and lose a few today, I'd still be disappointed after losing.

Because we expect positive result and win still that's why. I don't think anyone is hoping to lose when they gamble, we are aware playing on slot is base on luck but we are always hoping luck is in uor side.

As humans, there's always a feeling of feeling good(to win) in whatever little things we do.  Being intentional about it or not, still comes with times you would like to earn in those things and not entirely lose all the time. Continue losing means that you are not improving in those things. But to win and lose at times will make you feel that you are trying. That your efforts are not a waste

If you still feel that way after 'enjoying' the game/s, then I guess you should spend less. I think it has to be at a point where you're okay even if you just give the money away even without playing. Compare it also to treating someone to a movie or something else just for complete amusement.

Well, you feel that way because you lose and that's human nature. A rule of responsible gambling is to not place any bets if you lose 2 bets in consistently. Next time when you gamble you should keep that in mind and when you lose two bets then you should stop betting that day.

I understand your feelings and I also sometimes feel the same way, at first we feel fine even though we have prepared money that we can afford to lose but losing is something we don't expect anyone who is having fun will definitely still want to win even if it's only small but in gambling we still have to accept whatever the results are if we are disappointed it is commonplace we can forget it at any time by venting it to more positive things.

Nobody merry when they are losing money and every one tends to be happy when they are winning money so it's something natural, but what I can only advise is to use small amounts that you think wouldn't affect you that much to gamble, I know gambling is somehow very tempting and can make one gamble uncontrollably if they don't apply responsible gambling practice.

Maybe you should reconsider the amount of money you use in gambling because that could be a part of the reason you feel disappointed when you lose from gambling, that is, you are gambling with an amount of money you cannot afford losing.

It is normal to be disappointed because gamblers want to win, whether they are gambling for fun or to make money. Winning brings pleasure, especially for those who gamble for fun, and for those who want to make extra money, the only way they can do so is to win.

Not winning causes dissatisfaction and disappointment, which in most cases prompts the gambler to seek new ways to win, making it difficult to remain responsible. After all, all addicted gamblers were once responsible gamblers.

if you do not feel any disappointment when you lose, you might be a psychopath lol but seriously gambling responsibly does not mean you would not feel any kinds of emotions you will still feel disappointed and a bit sad at times it is only part of gambling but you should make sure that you at least do not fall in too much into depression or despair when you lose because that is when you will start try chasing losses

It is natural for a human being to regret it. Because humans have emotions. And when they lose in gambling, it is difficult to hold back those emotions. When they lose money in a bet, everyone is in the same situation where it is natural for a gambler to regret. Again, if they win, they will be happy. However, what can be done for a gambler is if he does not become excessively greedy and gambles within his limits, then the amount of that loss will be reduced to a great extent which can reduce his regret. The thing is that no one can ever accept a loss easily.

If you regret what you are doing then there is no fun in it, so stop gambling and focus on things that can bring joy to you. Gambling is not something that we can win consistently, losing is a part of it but if you feel that all you do is losing then it may not be the thing for you. Or at least take a break or try different games and see if it changes the fate.

To gamble and be happy, one must win. Only winning brings pleasure. No gambler would rejoice if he did not win, but all gamblers are ecstatic when they win, whether they are gambling for fun or to supplement their income.

When a gambler loses money, he always feels bad about it. A gambler who works hard to earn money and then spends it gambling will never be satisfied. The loss can lead to additional losses because the gambler will most likely be motivated to recover from his losses.
