Is it ok to feel disappointed when losing, even if you're playing responsibly?

That’s completely normal. Even if you know the outcome could be a win or a loss, you still gamble, and when things don’t go as expected, you feel disappointed, that’s just human nature.

What matters is how you handle it. As long as you’re not the type to chase losses and instead stop after a loss, that’s a good approach. But if you do the opposite, it could lead to even worse consequences.

Gambling is a continues process and losing a bet doesn't mean that the gambler should stop to gamble. Losing is only the certainty in gambling and so any gambler should be ready to lose but regardless must gamble within his means.

Reason why gamblers are not encouraged to continue gambling after series of losses is because loss drains emotions and when a gambler's emotion is drained he makes poor gambling decisions and incur more losses.

Yes, who likes to lose? Who isn't going to feel a little bad about losing something , especially if it's money ? I think everyone does. The thing is that in gambling, as in trading , losses are almost normal. What you should do is try to maintain more profits than losses. In trading , you can do it in gambling, I think you can only do it in sports betting.

It's normal to feel that way, we are all humans. But then we should remember that we gamble for a sense of excitement. It is totally normal to express emotions and feel disappointed, happy and etc when doing something. Moreover, I can say that there are people who feel disappointed also when they win. How about that? Not really like this, but the end of the day goal is same. The reason I'm saying there's something different here is because I don't think anyone is ever happy or disappointed when they lose their money.
That means when we all lose our money, whether it's a little or a lot, we're not happy at least and of course we feel a bad feeling inside. And I will say who say that they don't get disappointed when they lose on gambling and say they also only enjoy the game then I will say there were lying to us. 
I think everyone has bad feelings. But the point here is that if someone uses gambling only for entertainment, then he will spend a small amount of funds which will keep him financially happy and save him from addiction.
