What's Going On with XRP?

I know I’m not the only one noticing this so much bullish news, yet the market barely reacts. XRP saw a small pump after being named for the U.S. crypto reserve, but overall, things are pretty flat.

Do you think the U.S. reserve move will have a real impact, or is the market just numb to news now?

XRP's rise is based on news, so investing in it is short-term, meaning that after bad news occurs, you can invest and sell when the news is positive, and so on.
And in the long run it is not a good investment.

Ever since the court case victory for the XRP, the coin has pumped so fast within a short time interval to where it is today and I am not still surprised it is also pumping and that is good news to say. Trump included it in the US Strategic Reserve which also gave it an edge to do well more than others and it is currently the fourth largest crypto on CMC today and it is doing perfectly well in the market. I believe those who bought early enough before the court victory and early investors who hodled for the long term would be having a nice time with the profit they had generated from the XRP coin.

All I saw was bitcoin and no altcoins.

I hope Trump did not use ripple, solana and cardano to be part of the reserve to manipulate the market. I do not think they will be included there. Also bitcoin that is included is not about buying bitcoin but about using confiscated coin for the reserve. This made bitcoin price to fall when it was announced.

I guess that's because the Summit in the Whitehouse didn't really have any fruitful discussion about XRP and other altcoins becoming reserves. I didn't really read much into this but a lot of posts are saying the US aren't really buying them but only keeping what they already have in their possession (seized assets).

Yes, I also read in an article that the U.S. is essentially keeping what they’ve already seized which is basically just holding what they were already holding but now officially declaring it “not seized” anymore. Haha!

In my view, I think the market has become too desensitized to good news that it is not anymore reacting like they used to even in 2024. There are many good things happening but most of them are getting useless maybe because the market is looking for something a lot better, bigger and more explosive like maybe China unbanning cryptocurrency or all of Middle East buying crypto. I am not a holder of XRP but I know it would be frustrating to its holders and investors for it not moving the way they wanted to. Anyway, this is one risk with investing most especially in cryptocurrency...nobody can really predict of what can be and even the best analysis can fall flat anytime.

I've noticed the market's not jumping at good news like it used to, probably because everything feels so shaky out there. I think XRP being part of the US crypto reserve sounds cool but I'm not expecting it to hit big right away. People investing seem to be holding back, waiting for something solid before they dive in. If more folks start using it, I bet the price will pick up.

We can't be certain that there will be some domino effect on XRP or on any other coin, in fact.
2025 is still only in its wake, so we just need to look patiently at the developments.

to be fair, this is only announcement what trump did and xrp (among other coins) are not yet added to the reserve officially

there is also the possibility of xrp etfs so there are lots of positive news regarding the crypto community specifically xrp so don’t lose hope just yet and learn to practice some patience

I've learned you've got to be patient with crypto. XRP's been doing pretty good lately and I think it could keep growing if the market's chill and more big players jump in. No coin just shoots up forever but i feel like its strong basics will win out over time. I'm excited to see what happens in the next few weeks.

XRP will always experience some pumps at intervals and this is attributed to the inclusion on the Bitcoin strategic reserve list that has been implemented by Donald Trump. I think that there will be some significant demands on XRP, it may continue to attract new investors and traders overtimes.

Again, XRP addition to the Bitcoin reserve plans will boost its  prices, and will open more opportunity on the crypto community, at least, we needed stronger altcoins that can boost the market demands and marketcap on a regular periods.

This rule will not always make you profitable, as some cryptocurrencies have not changed for years. I am not talking here about currencies with low market caps, but rather LTC/BCH/UNI/TRON and many other tokens that failed to break their previous ATH.
