Having a partner is not a bad but where we make mistake is picking someone we know but it should be someone with the same mindset as ourselves. I seen some very successful business which are run by group of people like 10, they share profits as well as loss and they able to manage a loads of business in various fields. So it's not bad but we should be lucky to find out the right people.

If two brothers can battle against each other for financial matters, friends can not be excluded, so it is not a surprise if friends and partners also have conflict. Handling your own business/ company is more better than having partners, this is because of the numerous disadvantages associated with partnership, one of this demerits includes shared partnership. One thing to note here is that the two partners shares the losses of the business and it's assets, even when the the mistakes may have been made by one partner alone through his supposed contribution.
Another demerits is future conflict. In the future, the relationship between the partner may become sour and disagreement may occur, and this disagreement may sometimes be some intense that it involve the other party to ul out his own share in the company, and this may seriously affect the business, the impactation may be serious that the company may close down, there leaving their customers stranded.

In business, you have to make different decisions and plans at different times but when you have a partnership in your business it will not be possible to make exclusive plans.
