Is it a genuine interest in helping, or a way to profit?

I have seen many forex traders (crypto traders are not excluded, of course) venture into opening up physical trading academys. It is almost like the next step for them after establishing that they are now making some profit. Do you think traders who start up trading academys and signal groups are more interested in helping people gain knowledge and make money for themselves than their selfish interest in profiting from these people who come to learn?

I think most start these academy's more as a way to generate funds for themselves to trade with, not really with the intention to help. What do you think?

I will say majority of them are really establishing an academy for the purpose of the benefit they will make from the people coming to acquire knowledge, they are really trying to build their own equity and make more and more profits from the market.
Opening a forex academy is just a business after all a business man or woman won’t establish a business if he/she won’t get benefits from the business.
Their really have their own interests for the business so the academy is also a part of their source of income, they have the intention of helping though but still they are building their own brand and equity with the people’s funds.

 They are really some who are really trying to help but almost all of them have their own benefit and self interest from opening an academy to show people how the market works.

I have really thought about this too and I think the later is the case here. They’re just after the way they’ll generate more money for themselves in order to have more money to fund their trading accounts. While I came to that conclusion was after following some traders and their mode of trading.

You would be able to see that this traders are really gambling with people’s money, they’ll just place a trade with bigger lots sizes since they have big account and then tell their students to enter same trades as them. When the markets has moved few pips, they will be in big profits while the students under them with small account will still be battling to make $5 in a trade.

As a successful trader, I feel you should be able to hold a trade till take profit and not gamble always with people’s money when you already made thousands of dollars while they still battle with few dollars due to the difference in capital.

No one in this world is that much generous.

Isn't it obvious that they are doing it for profit? Why would someone want to help someone to get rich?

Does anyone in reality do that? And let's assume they want to help genuinely then why they ask for a subscription fee? So two signs that makes it obvious that they want to trap people with sweet lies and fake promises for big chunk of money.,

When a building is rented, money is spent to make possession of the space or building, and that money spent, there is a mindset of regaining it after a while (or within a year, cause rent will be renewed). If a land is bought for sell purpose, it will be for building a home for the family, otherwise it is for business. Every mindset behind any business is to make/generate profit.

The successful traders are giving out educational services, and which is not free, mostly when it comes to money. Before learning, one must pay, those teaching has it at the back of their mind that they will receive payment either at the end of the month or at the end of the lecture.

So, it is all about making more money, though rendering services. After every service, payment must be made for services rendered.

I believe it’s a mix of both because starting a community is beneficial in the long run if you take care of the members. There are a lot of reasons why people are doing it, and one related to this is having members pay for it.

Memberships need value, and you have to create one in order to really gain the monetary benefit.

Most of them are promoting their platform but sure they are also up to help learn for they are posting tutorials to make you learn how to trade. I use to watch one on youtube, it helps me learn how to use the indicators that we can also use in crypto market. Not all I think is up to making themselves richer but its a mutual exchange.
