People reluctant to use their Bitcoin for everyday transactions is pretty much normal especially for those people who sees Bitcoin as an asset, but not ALL think like that. In fact, I'm always spending most of my Bitcoins on a monthly basis. Yes, it isn't Bitcoin that I'm using, but I'm converting it into our own fiat currency (and I guess that's considered spending of Bitcoin, right ).

As for your question, no it will not happen. Bitcoin is an asset, or I should say a speculative asset that people will try to buy and sell therefore, it will not become stable or at least as stable as those stablecoins out there. At the end of the day, there will always, and always be people that will buy Bitcoin, and at the same time, sell Bitcoin, and maybe let's also add the fact that Bitcoin isn't pegged to anything unlike stablecoins which is pegged to US Dollar.

Volatility makes investing exciting, so why think of Bitcoin being stable.

People hold on to Bitcoin because they know its future value, they certainly know in the next few years the value would have certainly risen. Regarding its volatility, I don’t think it will ever stop been volatile but its volatility will reduce with time. The more investors and buyers, the more stable it will become.

Volatility will surely be going down for Bitcoin but this can take a lot of time and if there can be bigger mass adoption including governments taking in Bitcoin as part of their international monetary reserve. By then, Bitcoin will be moving less erratic making it more attractive to big institutional holders and traders but less for ordinary investors like you and me as the possible returns will plummet just like gold or stocks. The volatility of Bitcoin may reduce later in the future when people no longer consider it as an asset strictly for investment. The buyers and the sellers are the ones who are creating the  volatility in the market and when the activity of buying and selling reduces volatility will follow suit.

It may be in sideways area, but the price still keeps volatile. And that is still going on until now. There is no safe and stable price during the market, every market currency must say something. But for Bitcoin, this is always volatile. Even though there are many people who feel that they are really stable and there are no significant changes, but still, price changes are very normal and often occur, volatility also has its pluses and minuses. So, it's just a matter of how we manage it for our own good.

I don't think a day will come where it will be used for everyday transactions, so that means we don't come to seel BTC with no volatility, as we all know its price is highly influenced by the demand and supply factors but along with other factors too, like now a days, its news from Trump or Elon or from some big person.

Even with mass adoption, Bitcoin volatility will be there but it depend on what the market is saying at that particular time. Bitcoin can be trading at $10k and if there is no volatility the price will be sluggish and wouldn't move but the moment there is a big news, you will see that first candle that will come as a result of fomo, everyone will want to buy.

Similarly, Bitcoin is trading at $87k right now, it can nuke down in price if there is any bad news in the market especially now that the price is now a political movement than the usual speculations market traders do follow. Volatility will always be there unless there is no driving force at that particular time.
