Because they wanted to record every funds they are sending, it should be best to make these in blockchain to that everyone will know exactly how much was sent to a country they send aid. This is why Trump was furious about Zelensky asking funds from Biden every time and yet there is no record of how much exactly.

We've been talking about blockchain potential for transparency, but it's only now being tapped. The Vietnamese government once tried storing citizen degree data on Tomochain, but it was a failed experiment. We haven't had any updates on it, and Tomochain was acquired by Coin98 and rebranded as Viction.

I hope Trump can bring transparency to USAID spending by putting the information on the blockchain and allowing everyone to check in real time. What I'm waiting for now is which blockchain will be used: most likely it will be Cardano ^^

Donald Trump administration is not fading in their crypto journey and fulfilling their promises. All the promises Trump made, he is fulfilling and doing more. Incorporating Blockchain in USAID will improve transparency in the side of both the recieving countries and US. I am loving the crypto and Blockchain president that US has.

Why? The financial uses of blockchain are far greater than cryptocurrencies.
A centralized blockchain could be used something like Ripple.

this is a really good news actually because finally they are not just using bitcoin to make profit but they are also maximizing its real purpose and integrating blockchain technology into governments not only can this improve people's perception of bitcoin or crypto as a whole but blockchain's technology will now be realized and used in different industries i would say that trump is really approaching crypto in the best possible way right now

I was only speculating, i am not sure of anything and we would only understand better when further information is provided. However, i don't just see how they can make such data public to everybody, it could be public to only authorized personnel, but that is just my thought.

Now you see, *this* would be a good use of blockchain in the government, but the only problem is that it would have to be maintained by a third-party contractor. Because I can see this going terribly wrong if the government themselves attempt a blockchian. Primarily, corruption is a big problem that the previous admin did not seem to care about. It would be easy for a corrupt government to tamper a blockchain by strategically leaving out records.

It might be that they need to make it public so that everyone can see and there's no doubt of tampering it. And that's how we see what blockchain is.

But it's really hard to say if they are going to let a 3rd party handle. And who will be supposedly independent contractor that will get this one? It could be a private firm but for sure that company has some connections to the government in order to procure this project.

I don't think Trump is making the wrong decisions regarding tariffs, I believe it's part of a negotiation tactic that Trump is very proficient at from his own experience. Usually the results won't be as extreme as what Trump demands, and that will be a good opportunity for the market to rise.

Applying blockchain to make government operations and spending transparent is necessary. Any blockchain that is trusted for use will have the opportunity to see the native token's price increase, I'm thinking of ETH, SOL and ADA.
