Did you ever wonder this question: What can I do if casinos took my money? Sometimes a casino can refuse to pay you your winnings for several reasons. And trust me, players are not always the victims. I used to have this idea that when a casino refused to pay back money, it was 100% because it was a scam. The reality is, sometimes we just ignore the casino's policies where we play.

So what steps can I take if I feel casinos took my money and didn't return it after a withdrawal request?

Contact the Casino directly: You should get in touch with the casino right away and explain what happened. You can ask why your payment is delayed or blocked. In 99% of cases, you will get an answer explaining the reason (note that you can also contact the casino through its different social media platforms).

Submit Identification Documents: You need to make sure you’ve provided all the necessary documents to verify your account. Many casinos won’t release your winnings until this is done (and I believe this is the only way they can confirm the player's age).

Check Bonus Conditions: If you used a bonus like a registration code or free spins, you should review the terms to see if you’ve met the required wagering conditions. If you haven’t, your withdrawal might be blocked, and this happened to me in the past. Actually, no online casino can validate your transaction without respecting a certain number of bets.

Wait for Processing Time: Some casinos need extra time to process withdrawal requests. You should be patient because it’s normal for your money to be on hold for a while depending on your payment method. This is why I always go for crypto transactions because they are faster and easier.

Avoid Multiple Accounts, fraud, cheating, or suspicious activities: You should make sure you only have one account with the casino. Having more than one can create issues. And remember, using someone else’s card can lead to your withdrawal being canceled.

Usually, casinos will respond quickly and explain any delays. If the problem continues, you can report it to your bank because sometimes the delay can be from your credit card provider.

Have you ever faced a situation where a casino didn’t return your money? How did you handle it? Or, feel free to share with us any other steps (other than the ones above) we can follow in such situations!

PS: No need to name the casino ;)

Some sites are just not doing it right and put gamblers in problem because they will allow gamblers to be gambling without verification but when the gambler win and want to withdraw, they will request for KYC. Some KYC gambling sites are like that. That is why I like Stake.com. When the gambling site began KYC, you have to get verified before you can deposit.

typically a lot of people are using cryptocurrency nowadays to gamble so there might not have a bank to report to but thankfully crypto is very transparent and you can always check the blockchain if your transaction actually went through

honestly you have pretty much summed it up well what i would add maybe is to not panic and come into conclusions right away and calmly contact the casino and wait for further instructions

I personally have issues like this before when I was an agent from an online casino that dominated the community here in my place before I am not sure what year it is but I have a withdrawal that was sent and requested during cut off and it didn't go through and it's gone forever though not that big amount  but the company didn't really care even my upline they act like worried but I can see on their faces that it's not gonna be refunded.

I think if I am not mistakenly this similar post has already been existed in other forum therefore it's better to put the previous link were you originally created the post from. However, what you outlined is already the issue facing users and it's a common casinos usually does, most times they always put the blame on the gamblers because they mostly fails to read casino ToS before going to further gambling.

Those gambling site that didn't ask for KYC in the beginning might ask later when you win a big amount of money. As long as you have your documents with you, I don't see it as a hinderance to your withdrawal. It's when you upload your document for verification and they still deny you your withdrawal is when it becomes something fishy.

One thing that deny casinos from denying people of their money especially the once that don't ask of kyc during registration is not using the names on your official document some people use a different name that is different from their real names in real life and when they upload their documents and the casino see that the two names doesn't match getting your money back will be an issue

So what steps can I take if I feel casinos took my money and didn't return it after a withdrawal request?
Like I said before, if a casino does not want to pay you your money, you will submit all the required documents, and still they will keep mute. Some gamblers who have played in dubious casinos and did not break any rule were still denied their withdrawals after they won, and unfortunately, at a point they got frustrated since there was nothing they could do to them other than have a bad review.

To avoid being in that position, play in only reputable casinos that have zero issues with withdrawals.

For now, I haven't received any problems in withdrawing or paying my winnings. Actually, we can avoid things like this by playing at a casino that has a good reputation, and at least when we are asked for KYC, we are cooperative so that it goes smoothly and there are no obstacles in the future.

Based on what I observe spamming their social media or forum thread is the only thing that might help you speed up this process. This assumes the casino isn't as big as the competition, or the owners have good CS service. Sometimes even reputable casinos will block users without prior notice and the users will always complain about it, even if they do break the rules.

As always, just assume your money is gone if you sent it to somebody else. This will let you feel less distressed if you get hit with paused withdrawals or something similar.

Just play on cassinos that care about public opinion.

If you're playing on ShadyRandomCasino.bet, they don't care if you're bashing them online. They will just move on to scam the next person.

But if you play on cassinos that form a community (i.e bc.game sponsoring signature campaigns, events on bitcointalk, etc), then it's easier to get someone on their team to help you, because they won't just sit and watch you destroy what they have been building.
