Let's assume you have $25k to invest in crypto. How would you diversify your portfolio? What are the things you will keep in mind? What will be your though process?
60-20-15-5.
This always changes, but the majority of my portfolio is on Bitcoin just like other users here.
60% will be on Bitcoin, 20% will be on the top 20 or even top 50 coins, 15% will be on the top 51-100, and the remaining 5% is for risky coins such as those new projects or those meme coins out there.
Things to keep in mind? As a conservative type of investor, I would always put more than 80% of my crypto portfolio into safe assets like Bitcoin and some other top altcoins as well. I know that nobody is 100% safe, but I'm picking the coins that has a lesser chance of failing in the next 3-5 years IMO. 15% will be on those lower market cap but within top 100 coins. I remember when SUI is still on the top 51-100, I invested 100$ on it, and although I haven't sold it at peak, I still made money on it. One or few of those coins at the top 51-100 can be at the top sooner than we expect.
