Let's assume you have $25k to invest in crypto. How would you diversify your portfolio? What are the things you will keep in mind? What will be your though process?
I will first divide this 25k fund into several parts. For example, in one part, I will invest only in Bitcoin directly, keeping in mind the upcoming cycle, I would invest aggressively in the bear season. Maybe it could be also in two part one will goes for the long term with the DCA scheme.
And the rest of the funds I would invest in some top level potential coins such as Ton, near, ADA coin. But here the ratio would be 7:3.

Everyone has their own preferentials but I think that when you want to divide this fund in several place, the biggest allocation have to go to Bitcoin and not because it's the best but you have to consider your risk factors before you do. There are lot of altcoins that can make you money from the market but you never can say which one exactly can give you that profits.

Over the years, Bitcoin price has always have a way of making new prices, that alone should be a motivation for big allocation of funds instead of putting almost everything in coins that might not brings you anything later.

It doesn't matter to others to be heavily in altcoins but what I feel bitcoin is more certain than altcoins.

  • $10k buying bitcoin in lump-sum
  • Another $10k for bitcoin monthly DCA
  • 2k in Solana
  • 2k in ripples
  • 1k in Ada

You can call me a Trump fan, I don't care but these coins will likely flourish within Trump's 4 years reign.

Yes, just like i have written before, spreading $25k capital into top altcoins besides bitcoin is a very wise idea and should be considered before investing. We all know that the crypto market is very difficult to predict and most often very volatile, the probability of top altcoins pumping can't be ruled out, and there are chances that altcoins season may be loading in near future.
I think the $25k capital allocation should includes altcoins in certain proportion that owner can benefit now and in near future Market uptrends movements.

I will support and appreciate your strategy like this. To be honest, I have also considered this kind of plan myself. Moreover, most people invest in altcoins so that they can fill their moon bag from altcoins through high risk.
But to be honest, I have little faith in those types of investments, so I keep a very small amount for them. And where Bitcoin can give me almost double the profit in three years by investing only by following the DCA scheme and if I can invest correctly then it has the possibility of being more than 5 times where the risk of loss is less. So I consider this as a better plan.

I will buy $10,000 worth of Bitcoin, $5,000 worth of Solana, $5,000 Ethereum $5,000 in XRP. These coins will surely be profitable in the long run and are safer compared to other coins on the market that are only get triggered by hype and trend.

I am really surprised that solona is not included in your list, it is considered a very old player in the market. Currently solona coin has created a lot of popular hype which is continuously attracting the attention of investors. Moreover, solona position is strong among the top crypto currecurrency currently. Since bitcoin offers fast returns so I would like to use a large portion of my funds to purchase bitcoin. Also, participating in the Binance Launchpad with USDT can yield some profits.

If you have a lot of money, it will be easy for us to choose which coins we will buy and invest in. Unlike those who only have a little capital, we have to be really good at choosing coins so that we get profit.

It's $25,000, well, it's just hypothetical, maybe what I'll do with that amount when investing is allocate it to the following crypto assets:

$5,000 in Bitcoin
$1,500 in Ethereum
$1,500 in Solana
$1,500 in Bnb
$1,500 in Kas
$1,000 in Hbar
$1,000 in Cardano(Ada)
$1,000 in Polygon(Pol)
$1,000 in Tron
$1,000 in Ton
$1,000 in Pepe
$1,000 in Floki
$1,000 in Shiba inu
$1,000 in Algo
$1,000 in ARB
$1,000 in TIA
$1,000 in UNI
$1,000 in CAKE
$1,000 in Dogecoin

These are the cryptocurrencies I would buy if I ever had that much money. But in real life I wouldn't allocate that much amount to cryptocurrency,
maybe $10,000 would be fine.

Now you assume the profit from bitcoin is 2x?
That's what we feel, by doing the DCA strategy we collect a lot of profit in bitcoin even in the portfolio in view of the profit is almost 200% more, that's pretty good right?

There have been many experiences investing in altcoins and more losses in the past so now learn to focus more on bitcoin.

For me, if I had $25,000 to invest in cryptocurrencies, I would diversify my portfolio as follows:
60% Bitcoin over the long term, following a DCA strategy where I would buy with every Bitcoin dip over the long term, and sell 50% at the first peak.

10% XRP + 10% SUi + 10% ADA + 10% SOL. I have a feeling these coins will grow in the future when Bitcoin reaches its peak.

Actually I said for 2x profit in bitcoin investment with DCA scheme plan, this is at least expected amount of profit ratio in my opinion. And if we just calculate with the percentage the percentage 200% we will get that.
I think for those who like to take less risk and at the same time want a good amount of profit, investing in Bitcoin through DCA for the long term is the best strategy. Even if bitcoin is currently in a dump or market correction, at least I'm not at a loss.

Let's assume you have $25k to invest in crypto. How would you diversify your portfolio? What are the things you will keep in mind? What will be your though process?

I will first take 50% of the entire money and invest in bitcoin, then take take 20% of it to invest in real estate, take another 20% for altcoins investment, and the last 10% will be going for my normal physical business which will include doing other menial jobs to earn a living,  by my own way of little diversification, which i try to split into four categories and on different asset that could be profitable.
This is a well-thought-planned investment that will pay off hugely in all round. Bitcoin, altcoins, real estate, and physical business, you are sure of having a return on investment in all of them. There's no way you are not getting up to x3-5% in each of the investments you have choose.
