Ever won a giveaway on an exchange before ?

even if the exchange list the people who won their giveaways, there is no way of verifying who those people are since the identities are kept private. they may announce user account but not the real names.

i have joined the trading contest of an exchange as well, they announced the winners. i have no encounter any of those names in the chatbox of the exchange but seem like its up to them.

As the easter celebration approaches, it seems some exchanges have rewards in for their users. I’ve come across a couple of promotions organized by exchanges for the easter holiday. A particular one that stood out was to trade to win a Tesla giveaway, which kinda reminds me of last year Christmas celebrations.

A lot of giveaways kept showing up on my timeline, one was about a trip to an island while another i remember was an iPhone 16 and MacBook giveaway. Though, i heard people still win but I haven’t won any in a while. Which brings me to ask if anyone has won any of these exchanges giveaway prizes.

I never participated because I don't believe in luck that much. On top of that, the competition in such events and giveaways is usually very high, which means that those who trade a lot and with large capital will have higher chances of winning because they will be on the top. They will have more chances even if it's done through a draw, but usually, they reward those who stay on top of the trading leaderboard.

Exchanges get pretty good profit from these giveaways because they will get both trading fees from the traders and also money from liquidations that people face when trying to complete certain trading targets. So even if they giveaway super cars to users or expensive gadgets, they still get more money than what they spend on them.

Almost all exchange give away have limited number for winning and I don't interested yet for participating, firstly I have bad experienced when first time as new user of Bybit exchange and they have trading competition give away for new coins launching at their market.
Have followed all rule from as new user registering until deposit fund $100 then trading accumulate coins promotion but at least can't win give away yet. During market exchange give away have limited number winner, I don't interested yet for joining any more how difficulty to be the winner.

I already posted about Bitcoin and blockchain in 2017, on my birthday. The post no longer exists, but I left my Bitcoin address at the end of the post and received a donation from one of the owners of the exchange (a symbolic amount), something like $5 at the time. I don't remember the amount anymore. But if I had held on to it today, it would have made a huge difference and today it would probably be worth hundreds of dollars.

I emphasized the importance of Bitcoin and its technologies and expressed all my gratitude and expectations. This was in a Facebook group where I was very active and one of the owners/partners of the exchange was in the group.

As far as I remember, I haven’t receive any other gifts from any exchange. So just to summarize, it was not a gift received through an official promotion by the exchange, but through an individual action by the exchange in giving me a gift.

luck has never been on my side when participating in a lottery event related to cryptocurrency...price predictions, exchange draws, lotteries, score predictions, and so on... none of them have been able to give me any benefits..however, I am sure that the winners are real for most of the draws that I have participated in, because some of the winners who were announced were people I know and it has been confirmed that the prizes are real...

So, this is indeed a matter of luck...even in a lifetime someone may never win a lottery if luck is not on their side..

No, and I believe is that, this is their only way of advertising their exchange.
If you want to participate in this kind of events, you need to trade a specific amount in order to be included, aside from trading a specific amount, I think total trading volume is a requirement as well. I mean I've seen it on the exchanges where I registered that you need these 2 to be eligible in the giveaway.

As for me, I don't, and I don't expect myself to win at the end of the day.

Usually have regulation about first come first serve for exchange trading give away although have reach minimum amount for trading regulation but can't guarantee for becoming the winner. Have specific amount trading regulation and other side exchange give away offering limited participants and if late few hours or day after event running likely difficult for winning giveaway on exchange.
Have risk for joining giveaway exchange when trading with specific coin, easily any coin offer trading have downtrend significant due many user join the event.

Unfortunately, I've never participated in or won any similar contests or events. I'm not skilled at trading to make profits in a specified time frame, my strengths in the market are time and patience

Typically, only the best traders participate and have the opportunity to win huge rewards with the effective trading methods they've spent a lot of time learning, practicing, and successfully applying. I myself only wait for unexpected airdrops from CEXs or DEXs that I've used in the past, similar to how Uni users received UNI tokens worth up to 1000 USD.

Those giveaways are mostly situated on those important period were the world will be doing one big celebration to another, so definitely there might be giveaways this Easter that's coming up but however those giveaways are very little to buy you anything because is usually very small after it might have been shared among all the people who partake on it. I have seen so many tempting offers, but I have never being lucky. The requirements to win these giveaway are sometimes unrealistic to me, as they don't usually fall under the activities or things i do on exchanges.

And I think I have seen some offers like free $100 to trade with, but not sure of how to use it because I don't know how to. I don't really see myself winning one, but who knows, luck can find anyone someday.

Last Christmas giveaway was so massive, i was literally seeing alot of offers popping up my timeline. I like the fact that we get to see events like these during celebration season. I was quite surprised when i saw the tesla giveaway promotion on Bitget’s website. You can check it out and participate, events like these has made trading more interesting lately.

Exactly participating in these events requires optimism. As long as the event is been held on a major CEX i would continue to try my luck since all I basically need to do is to trade.

We have a local exchange that always have a lot of contests in trading and just some random games. I have tried to participate in many of them but I am just always almost winning it when I receive emails from them. But I have no luck compared to the others that always flaunt with the winnings that they have. And with that, I have stopped participating in them, if they just did gave me one win, I'll continue to participate but not anymore.

Nah... Haven't won any giveaway and I don't partake in them because I hardly use an exchange to the point of noticing these giveaways and have time for them. I only did a transaction once in Binance that I was given 20000 Pepe that is worthless. Don't really like giveaways.

I don't also use CEXs most times since the issue surrounding most of them, i decide to just choose one of them.

I am an unlucky person as always and my luck never favors me in such giveaways. And although I was initially interested in joining these events, now I don't get any interest in joining any such event, rather I feel like doing such events is a waste of time.
And on top of that, I would say that these types of events are only used for their own promotion and only a very limited number of people get it, and many new exchangers are basically fake promotions. They don't give any prizes to real users at all.
