been seeing WATC pop up here and there something about a meme coin on TON mixed with a tap game and water puns lol. normally I’d ignore stuff like this but ngl the whole “Telegram-native” vibe and that beluga thing got me weirdly curious.

there’s some event happening rn where you can apparently stake and earn points before it drops. feels early but also random af. like… is anyone actually looking into this or am I just falling for another nicely packaged nothing burger?

not tryna get hamster kombat’d again or fall into another tapswap / x empire loop where it’s all noise and no follow-through. just wanna know if anyone’s actually tracking this one or if I should let it float by.

if anyone’s played the game or knows what the devs are really building, lmk. not trying to ape or anything, just trying to figure out if this is a real wave or just another splash that dries up.

Are you talking about wat coin? If that's so, then it does not worth the time because AFAIK it already listed and I even joined it and earned some WATs but the rewards were too low that It was not even close to $1. or even a half dollar but those who locked their rewards for long period they must be getting them now maybe that's why you are hearing about it but TBH I am active in airdrops groups and did not heard a word about it.

Although I did came to know that, Grok the AI chat bot in Twitter is also going to be released on Telegram as a bot, or maybe if Elon decides, he will introduce some points or coin system, Not sure, but if that's happen, it would be a big next telegram project but for now all eyes are on paws.

I haven't heard of the project either, even though I've participated in many projects on the TON network on Telegram. There was a bot called WATCoin, and I don't know if it's the same thing or something different.

In any case, I don't recommend investing in any TON project because the vast majority are scams. Never believe their promises, because they're liars. These are all ridiculous, worthless projects created solely to keep up with the trend and steal people's money.

Even the legitimate ones have a very low value upon listing, and you won't even get back the money you invested in the project.

If you still have the urge not to let this 'potential gem' to slip by, then you could sprinkle some money into it and wait if it grows or not. You won't maximize the profit if it turns out to be a real deal but you won't feel the burn if it's just another vaporware.

I have not yet heard on WATC but one thing for sure since this is just another project under the TON platform this can just be headed to the bin. Yes, this might be giving off some noticeable spark for some time but eventually the TON curse will take over. We have to accept that right now, TON is not anymore fashionable...though am still hoping that it can get back to the game maybe next year. So all I can say is good luck and may you experience the huge ROI you can be looking for.

As long as we know how to conduct research on a crypto asset, I think we will not experience what other communities in the crypto space

My brain said me one thing, but my hands did another. I wanted to say that I wouldn't go for the TON chain currently due to the uncertainty and lack of confidence overall on the market.

There are lots of examples that people lost lots of money on such projects instead of winning out. It should be all done with caution.

For altcoin memecoin I can't give full go-ahead order to buy or venture into it since the market is that volatile and of course if you aren't that smart enough to invest in memecoin you may lose seriously, besides coin on the TON network this day are very risky after seeing how some coin launch on that network didn't even meet up the hype. Again, it is your funds and you can decides how much you want invest on or not but the major thing there is to investment with the amount you can afford to lose.

Any investor going into some of the new start up projects on the Ton networks, Binance Smart chain, Solana and others should be very careful, there are many scammers on the crypto economy launching different coin/token to pumps and dumps on their victims, especially the meme coins. A serious investor planning to start his investments journey should watch out, a serious search should be thoroughly carried out appropriately before investing. That's a newbie mentality, investing in a project they don't know about because someone hype it or promoted it to them. They won't ask questions or research about the project, they will move ahead to invest, and when the project has failed or scammed them of their money, they will complain that crypto is a scam, forgetting that the mistake is from their side, they forget to research on the project before investing

Haven't heard of this project yet. And so far I never had any profitable airdrops from Ton or Telegram I might be unlucky to be that late from previous projects but yeah this is much of a waste of time than making few dollars at the end of the day based on my experience.
