I just noticed the new bar at the top and also checked the description of how it will be listed. So it's good way of finding out which coin has good community support but my only concern is about buying the votes which doesn't seem fit with the actual reason for its existence.

also prevent projects from creating a million fake account, when they can buy some votes, give airdrops to earn some more
objective is to not make it very hard to be in the bar, especially that old coins will be removed, thus hopefully this will be quite dynamic

if some of the members think that it is for the better to get some immediate benefits now then why not? many projects who give out benefits often get more loyal members and get to establish a solid community

About buying votes, it's not uncommon these days. In some pageant I watched in the past, people voted by buying some 'entries' as part of a fund raising campaign of the organizers. In several reality TV shows, viewers vote for their favorite contestant via text messages (which is also like buying a load before they could vote).

Politicians buying votes is another matter though

I'm not in favor of another bar, ticker, or anything. There are already too many things that distract me. Now there is also a voting bar next to the 365 news bar, animated ads at the top of the page, additional ads within the topic, a post with rules... The forum is turning into an ad platform.
As for the purpose itself, I did not get the impression that it is necessary, but if the need is recognized based on the previous requests, I can understand.
It certainly looks better than the news ticker.

Buying or not, anyway, most things in crypto come down to the same thing, paying attention and artificially creating more interest in a token or service... It just fits the current trend.

OK, was also going to same the same thing, I have noticed I can't see much of what is written inside the bar except I zoom in moderately and scroll side to side, this has been like this for days now if I am not mistaken, but I actually didn't bother since I am yet to have any interest in the information contained in the bar, I also thought maybe it's because I am on mobile, and that when I have time to access the forum through my pc, the information on the bar did appear better.

But anyways, I hope this gets corrected.

OK, was also going to same the same thing, I have noticed I can't see much of what is written inside the bar except I zoom in moderately and scroll side to side, this has been like this for days now if I am not mistaken,.

I'm using a mobile phone right now and it looks like just the same. And its not moving unlike before. IIRC just a day ago, this bar moves and doesnt looks like that.

Wouldn't that affect integrity in the long run? Just saying.
There was a time people relatively trusted binance new listing for lasting project
Now it's just blatant pump and dump and many starts losing interest.

To be sincere i never did notice it since then until I saw this thread
Either my perception is poor (leaning towards this) or it's well hidden.


To the idea in itself it's quite creative and could do the forum lots of good if it's properly used.
