What do you think of timing in Gambling

Lately, I have noticed a particular trend in my gambling activities, I mostly play slots or bet on sports leagues, but the rising trend is mostly shown in sports betting, I am beginning to see more winnings when I place a bet on a particular time of the day and this period rang just between 1 to 2 hours.

At such time all my analysis always comes out winning, and even my highest jackpot in history was won at that period in time, so I can assume that time matters.

What do you guys think about this, have you noticed that in your gambling experience also?

I don’t have any experience where the time I gambled gave me more than I have, maybe because I always do it simultaneously. I didn’t think of it much, but perhaps it’s a good experiment to try next time.

I just think that you are just being lucky because there is nothing as a particular winning time when it comes to gambling both in slots games or sports betting it doesn't work, maybe your predictions at that point in time is just coming out to be true or lucky but linking your winnings to time is something that I will find it difficult to understand because as far as am concerned it doesn't work

I know that luck plays a major role in gambling winnings but none we still have other factors that play their on peculiar roles in the physiological functions of every human activity, we shouldn't think that gambling is a super rocket science that only a particular dimensions determine the outcome, we need to widen our scope in experience while gambling so that we don't miss out on some important things.

Time is a major factor in everything we do, and we shouldn't joke with it because, from my personal experience, I have noticed a lot of things that made me create this discussion thread.

I hope it works with you as well as OP did mate. I can't try that this time because I already stopped gambling and based on my experiences since I placed bets randomly I didn't notice something like that because I always think of it like it was all coincidental. But still it is worth experimenting if you really are curious about it who knows right?

I have observed the winning times of several bets very closely. Where I have noticed that I have better winning results if I bet at that time of day. It is not the case that I gamble at the same time every day. But I try to place bets at that time in my mind. I know that there is no practical logic to it but still I am very attracted to gambling at that time. Most of my big wins have been at that time. I don't know if anyone else would agree with me on this point but I have a weakness for gambling at that time.

If what is happening to you, you don't believe it to be luck, tell someone you know to bet at the same time with you on different bets. See whether the outcome of his bets will be the same as yours.

You guys will have different match results. You can find yourself winning your bets as usual while he will win or lose some of his bets. Don't forget your bets winning didn't just happen just like that because of the timing, it happened because you analyzed your bets before staking on them

Each of us has develop some kind of pattern from our daily routines and that could affect our gambling as well. For example, when you try to prioritize doing some exercise in the early mornings or evening, you get into a good mood after. If you gamble in a better mood, it's possible that you can strategize better which increases you chances of winning.

We often talk about gambling addiction, there is only mention of how much we are spending on gambling. And if we cross our ability to lose, then there is a possibility of addiction entering us.
Here, the thing that we often miss is determining the timing of gambling. Many of us are seen gambling during work or study time, which is really inappropriate. I usually don’t note down the time that I gamble and sometimes it’s random but I don’t think I can recall a time when I won and then played a second time around that time and won; my gambling time is in the evening (no fixed time though) so there’s a possibility of me repeating that same time frame but yet I haven’t noticed any difference in my wins.

Maybe, I’ll try and test it out by gambling for a week or two at the same time and see if it’ll have any impact on my overall performance and until that test comes to an end I will still be of the opinion that “time doesn’t really affect our results”.

Actually am not a slot fan but am sure that timing doesn't work on gamble unless it's a coincidence. However it it works for you more than three times please don't expect it to work again because there might be a changes on the patterns. I believed that when it has to do with gamble, winning is entirely based on luck but though your predictions also plays a big role on your game ticket but winning is based on luck. You can use the whole day to make a single prediction but if you are not lucky, you will still end up in tosing the game. So my point is that luck is the most important in gamble.

It was luck that made your win possible and not because of hour or time that you placed your bet. You should try this repeatedly, and seethe outcome of your bet. It wouldn't be win win win, you might not even win anyone.

I agree that timing and specific time of the day can have an effect when playing slots, as I’ve encountered and observed it in certain games. 

As for sports betting, that’s a different case since the results purely depend on the performance of the team or player, making it more unpredictable.

No, I haven't noticed something like that during gambling and I think you're getting wins in those two hours due to your luck. I believe that your luck gets better during those two hours and it's good to hear that you win in those hours.

Through my gambling career I have never noticed or experienced, that on some particular part of day or hour I win more often. However, I can suppose, that if OP gambles with sports bets and win during 13:00-14:00 more often, then it is because amateur or less professional teams or athletes play at that time, making it easier to predict favorite. For example if we take football, then all top league game matches usually happens on the evening. While during lunch time, regional or U18 teams usually play for example. Their skills are not as high as for example Premier League top5 teams, and by looking on gameplay, it is easier to stop who is stronger and bet on that team.
