I second this, this is actually a crypto forum, and because of that, we should focus more on cryptocurrency matters, so that those who are less knowledgeable can get more knowledge, and those with an existing knowledge can further expand their knowledge.

You have spoken well and it is nice more crypto related threads or topics are created so that the local board would be engaging and busy as well but I checked and I noticed we do have off topic board here so by so doing I do not think it is wrong for memebers to create topics that are engaging, maybe if the offtopic wasnt welcomed, it could be straight delete but the mod created the off topic thread but that is no bad idea about creating crypto related topic as that is what we ought to be discussing here maybe you should be much active as well so we all can better make our local board more active and lively.

There's nothing bad in what you have said, man, as a matter of fact, this is a crypto community, despite that every other topics is allowed to be discussed here, it's wise to also bring up new organic crypto related thread here, especially on topics that will be educative and enhance the knowledge of members regarding how to handle their cryoto portfolio.

That's true because even with the level of interaction you will see that the one we have on crypto related is higher than the one we usually have on non crypto related topics here and that's to say that it should be more of crypto related topics than any other thing because there is nothing as discouraging as always visiting your local and see a lot of uninteresting things to discuss, so our everyday discussion should be in respect to new things about crypto or precisely Bitcoin because that's why we gather here and not for any outside entertainment, so I like the fact that you brought this topic.

You're right the purpose of this forum is for like minds all over the world to communicate and exchange ideas concerning crypto currency in a view to making it popular so when we are posting we should have that at the back of our mind so that we will be guided when posting on this local board because this board should be full of crypto related topics that concerns nigeria and opportunities that are in crypto so that fellow Nigerian can benefit from it so we should align our self with this post so we can be guided right because most of the topics in this local board is not relevant to crypto currency

The purpose of this forum entirely is to discuss about crypto related topics and when the discussions begins to go off what we should be expected from here, it makes the board not actually fulfilling the purpose on which it is created. I love how discussions do come up here in the local board but when we have more crypto related topics, it would be a better place to have more interactive and educative conversations about crypto generally. Maybe when there is no new topic to discuss on we can iterate more on already existing topics to further expand the scopes of discussion there for the benefits of all members in the local board, and not focus on creating off topic discussions that will not add any value to the local community generally.

Yes, I agree with this opinion that this forum could be more animated if the content of the discussion which is given are things that are actually relevant. Thus, it is not about prohibitive run sites and choosing topics, but about how you and I can stop ourselves so that the existing flow of topics will remain interesting to many people. It sometimes may results to be boring to discuss on a same topic if you’ve discussed it severally you may make it be new by approaching it a different angle or from your experience. Especially when the members of this forum are of the beliefs that their time is being spent on something productive and not just on merely passing time.

Well you have tried to say your mind but is not that very important that we must be posting all cryptocurrency related post, of course we can't be that bringing crypto news when there's no any, so to me it's important we keep the board active by posting what worth discussing if we think it's something very important to talk about.

I don't think that we are discussing anything that's off topic on this board because we have a mod that is active and will send all off topics to its right place, because we have an off topic sub board. If you observe the forum, it's not only cryptocurrency related boards that are here. We have other boards too, so that we can be informed generally in other aspect of life and not only cryptocurrency. However, it will add more ingredients to the board if write more of crypto related topics.

I  understand mate , am just saying it just to make the board more active , yeah is still nice to deviate some times but sometimes it may affect the vibe of the board we all here to learn more about crypto space and to impact on others too.

This is one of the best local board in this forum and we are discussing on topic Threads but on cryptocurrency related topics, economics, politics so you can't say we are not discussing cryptocurrency related matters here. If you get am you can also bring am come here for us to discuss e no bad.

Though in any board people discuss go out and co.w back again so probably you don see something like that but that can't be used to judge the whole board.

I endorse your suggestion. It's going to help a lot us, if we discuss cryptocurrency related topic here, because from the look of things the thread belong to only Nigerians and we will understand each other more. I know that there are other threads where they discussed about cryptocurrency but I don't think it's everybody that will understand the grammar that is being used in that thread. But if we discuss cryptocurrency topic among ourselves (the Nigerians) we will understand each other more because we are the same, and we will find it very easy to understand since we are free to use any language in this thread including pigin, which we speak most as a Nigerians. So my ninja people he go better make we focus well well on crypto topics for the benefit of every body.

You have a good point +1 karma. To start with, that is actually supposed to be the job or the moderator here. Anyways I wouldn't blame him too much. Basically the forum has really low traffic and low activity compared to what is expected in an optimistic sense.

As a result of this, the moderation is quite low and not too intense compared to somewhere like Bitcointalk. It's not only on this board but other general boards too.

It is difficult for every newbie to understand this concept because there is no proper orientation given to them by anyone who has introduced them to this forum, but it is good that you have stated it here. The particular reason why many people have avoided this local boards is because most of the topics that are usually started here are off-topic and not topics worth discussing. I know that we can do better, and we will do better. And as we do better, I am sure engagements here will improve.
