Can you bet on a single game with 50.0 odd?

I believe that some of you here who are sport bettors must have experience of what I mean.

During a live match, we can tell that the odds of the game usually change continually depending on the bookmaker you are using.

Yesterday, I placed a bet, it was a parlay with 8 legs but I lost the bet because I predicted Bologna 1909 to win. Before the game started, Lecce had 5.00 odd while Bologna 1909 had 1.9 odd but after the first half time of the match, the odd of lecce have increased to 30.00 and it kept increasing, just few minutes to the end of the game, the odd was now 50.00

This is nothing new for so many of us because it happens continuously. Can anyone or have any of you here took such risk to place a bet on a single game with odd ranging from 10.00 - 50.00?

If you took such risk before, did you win?

This kind of increase in odd in partially risky too for the bookies because someone could actually take the risk and end up to win the bet because the team that was expected not to win the match, can luckily score a goal during penalty or could just win in the last minute.[1]

I have not encountered that number during a live game but I probably would have done it if those odds were already available at half-time. With just a few bucks, there's little to lose but a lot to gain.

In most cases, what I look for is the changes in odds for the favorites. It doesn't happen often but the underdogs score a quick goal and their lead remains until half-time.

You could bet 50 odds, and you shouldn’t expect to win. It is a very low chance, but there is a probability. I have seen some bets in Formula One that are more than 50. That's simply it, and it would be hard to win, though.

50.00 odds to one match would be like midget vs LA Lakers. I don't think that team even has the chance to win. But sure parlay would be nice, I can;t just see how you got that 50.00 on a parlay, did you chose those underdogs?

I sometimes do the parlay but I'm choosing the teams who can win, but 8 legs is too much for my luck. I'd only chose 3 games. Thats it which my total odds will only be like 2.+ or may 3.00 this gives me higher possibility.

There are always odds like that from the start of a match the the end of the match, but the problem is that you will not want to choose such odds.

Many will not pick such outrageous odds. But there are few people who will want to try their luck. I had a friend who normally bets on big odds but losses always.  I don't know if he had everly won.
Op, what about the outcome of the match. Did the 50 odds play?

I never saw that much odd, it's probably because I don't follow sports betting that much, but if you got the chance,e then why not but also the other side is 30.0 which seems great so it's worth the risk in my opinion and when you see which one is on the verge of winning the don't forget to grab that opportunity.

I have taken such risks several times, but I have never won. The good thing is that I don't stake high because the risk in those games are high. Even if the prediction appears to be safe, the outcome is not guaranteed. How much more for a single game with 10 to 50 odds? No doubt, sometimes these games can play but it takes a lot of courage to select those games even if it is a live bet.

The best way is always to gamble safe. It is not reasonable to place large bets on such games because the chances of winning are extremely low. It may benefit a gambler, without a doubt, but in the long run, a gambler who is determined to pursue such a game will lose a lot of money.

Such odds are commonly seen in sports betting. The number of gamblers who expect to win on those bets is very small. But in general, the chances of losing are much higher in such bets. I would never be interested in such bets. Because there is a very small chance of winning. And no one would be interested consciously keeping their money in such bets. If to win in such bets, a gambler has to constantly take the risk of losing money, then only at some point he can win if luck favor him.

There is no risk for the bookies..
They show those odds because that's what the pot is about, if people would rush in the last minute and throw a million at the 50:1 chance, you would see it turning from underdog to favorite, the odds are dictated by the market and the bookmaker, they offer high odds to offer a balance otherwise people would only buy one of the outcomes with that.

A last-minute goal can happen in a match. But for a team that was given more than 30 odds, I don't think they are anywhere close to scoring a goal because of how badly they are performing in the match. Many bettors won't like to bet in such a game, they will avoid it because it will be in a rare chance for the team that is losing to score a goal

I would never try this odd on a single match or sport because the chances of you actually winning this is 10/90 meaning there is almost zero chances of you getting it right although I understand that gambling is strictly luck base and anything can happen but not with games like this because it's almost as if you are just predicting for gambling sake but if am to try this then I think it will be on the selection or accumulation of odds because the chances of you picking smaller odds in atleast 5 games to get 50 odd is better than playing the 50 odd direct on a single game.

I am always intentional when I place bet. Gambling is something I do passively and so when I gamble the intention is to win and make extra bucks. I cannot bet on a single game with such odd. That will be me taking too much risk. Even if the game is claimed to be a fixed game, I will still not bet on it.

Gambling is not about luck trying. If you are gambling whether for fun or not, there is need to win. It is the winning that brings excitement. No gambler will find it funny losing even if he has so much money.

That kind of game is beyond scary to play, actually I have not try 50 odds on a single game at the closure time of the match because the book markers are not stupid to bring it if they no it might play, so there is a low chance of such game to play, I have forgotten that game I saw that day with 70 odds when it was 10 minutes to the end of the match, though people play it a lot with just very small amount to try luck, but in as much as gambling is about luck there are some you can even tell yourself that there is nothing luck can do about it

Betting on the side of higher odds means you have a higher chance of losing. And if someone knowingly bets on 50odd games, it means he has gone crazy.
However, it is wrong to think that people always lose in this kind of crazy bet or that it is never possible to win here. Because I remember that in the long-ago match between Argentina and Saudi Arabia, the odds of Saudi Arabia were so high, yet in the last stage it was seen that Saudi Arabia won that match.
I don't actually remember if I ever made a bet like this. But I most likely will never make a bet like this in the future.
