Many people are saying that we are already in the bear market and today being 6th of April 2025, bitcoin price dropped to $74k and people are saying it is not the bear market yet. So I was like then when is the real Bear Market of Bitcoin? In 2022, it was very clear for everyone to see and understand that bitcoin was in the bear run from the Month of April, and from the Month of November 2022, things were started changing to good.

But in this season or era bitcoin will not drop down to $16k again so in what price do you think bitcoin has hit the bear market in this current epoch? $50k? $60k? $70k? What is your bear market price of bitcoin?

Probably between $30000 but we can not speculate on this yet unless we have known the all-time high already. We do not know the all-time high yet. It is very possible that after the tariffs issue caused by Trump, bitcoin may begin to increase. Bit I guess it can not be more than June and it may last till towards the end of 2025.

From your figure, that is any amount above the $30,000 is no more bear run again but it is Bull Run. Well that price as bear market is not too bad as well but I don't think the price will still drop down to that figure again and if the amount or the price will not hit the $30k then bitcoin is on the bull run throughout the year.       -     Why did you miss the bear market? I think you made a big profit, right? You know that no one knows when the bear market season will start. Because the market is unpredictable. Then the majority of the crypto community has not really started the real bull run and it has not ended yet.

And this is also what I believe and I hope I am right in my belief. Because if it happens, we will still surpass what our loved one left behind for sure hehe..,
As long as we are still in the correction, that's all I can say as of the moment.

Once you're down -20% you're in a bear market, once you are up 20% you're in a bull market, simple as that!

If the number is already known, which is 20%, then what about the time period? ...
For example, BTC's ATH was on January 20, 2025... and it was at the level of 109k... that's what you refer to so when the BTC market touches 86k it means it's weakening...
Why do we use the highest number? Not data based on time... even though if we take the price one month ago, namely March 7, 2025, the price was 89k... and now it's 77k...
That means since 30 days ago, BTC -13%, meaning it has not experienced a bear phase...
While since the previous ATH, BTC -29% means bearish ...

Because you would end with a situation when an asset that has been quoted at $10 in January and is priced at 1 cent right now wouldn't be in a bear market because of arbitrarily timestamps, simple as that!
Following your own example if Bitcoin would be depreciating 19% every 30 days it would reach 2$ and you still wouldn't be in a bear market!

At this point, it doesn't look like we are experiencing a bearish run or we are fully in a bearish season, but of course, we are experiencing a bearish move that might reverse to a short bullish move at anytime. The market has not really been stable as the tariff keeps weakening Bitcoin price. We saw $88K last week, $74K in last than 24hrs, and $78K at the time of writing. I think that already tells us enough.

So, I will start considering the bearish run/season from $40K mark.

I think $40k-$50k could be the price indication for us to say that we're in the bear market. But this year is still long for anticipate the bear market. If ever we go back to the bear market soon, I'm sure that everyone who's missed this bull run is going to buy as much as they can and will save a lot for the next bull run.

When the price falls below $60,000, the previous ATH levels, it usually signals a cycle bottom.
Let's keep in mind that the $70,000 level is still good, but it will be difficult to see levels above $150,000 if the correction continues.
A breakdown below $60,000 indicates that we may not see $100,000 anytime soon.

It's simple everyone has their speculation. But in my opinion I believe we are in the bear market and any dump far below this aren't gonna be funny at all. Different people have their speculations where this current dump will stop before we resume price progression to the upside.

Last night when I checked the chart and saw so many reds to the downside first thing that came to my mind was we will experience a rejection at $75k and that's what happened.

An interesting question actually, I think that in this current era of bitcoin that we are in, it's hard to tell or say for sure when we have entered a full blown bear season, I even doubt if we will ever again see a full blown bear season where everyone know that we are in a bear season like it used to be with all other previous seasons, I feel that a lot of things have changed for Bitcoin with its adoption by the US president, narrative have shifted and things may likely never be like the used to be before..

For me, I wouldn't want to say that I have a particular price which the price of bitcoin will get to before I believe we have entered a bear season, this is because bitcoin can drop -10% today and then rise +20% in the coming weeks, this is the type of season we currently are in, and its hard to tell when exactly we have entered a bear season.
