No problem if it's just about bitcoin. The question is about learning about crypto which we know goes beyond BTC. It's still problematic if they learn about chasing profits from meme tokens too soon.

Yeah, they can lose more but they will have more time to learn and recover those losses. The other problem with adulthood is that we tend to play it safe and leave it late to attempt for investments. If it goes south, there is less time to get them back.

No matter how much you explain to a school child about the potential of Bitcoin or Crypto, they will spend their money on various types of food or toys with their tiffin money. So children should be explained about Crypto after a certain age, which may be after 15 years. Because children below this age are not worried about financial matters in any way, they will not consider Crypto as a valuable asset and will not want to save them. Children below 15 years of age will prefer cash money because they can easily use it to buy their favorite things. So I would suggest that you should try to tell children about Bitcoin after 15 years of age and not at a younger age.

I am not telling you to give them all access of your fund or that amount of fund what don't match with their age . Like surely you would never give a 12 year old boy, meaning your child, access to the 100k amount of funds you are holding?

The point I want to make here is that we actually give our children cash or digital money as their pocket money so that they can go to school and eat tiffin or buy their small toys. And in this case, I asked them to give them Bitcoin or cryptocurrency so that they can at least learn the fundamental uses of cryptocurrency from a young age.  And obviously I am not telling you to make forcefully pressure on them for using cryptocurrency.

I think digital games are a good start to familiarize kids and at the age of 10-12 yrs old, because at this age they can relate to things. And maybe some parents will do it even lower than this.

Then there is no need to explain to them specifically the meaning of blockchain technology or bitcoin, but just for them to be familiar and know where and how it is used to help people and I think these are good steps to educate them in my opinion..

Children are more faster in learning and whatever you may teach them at their age are already stored in their memories which they wouldn't required having to face challenges when it is time, although your decision are fine but to me what I said is what I would do, like currently my daughter knows about Bitcoin even though she doesn't knows dipper but at least she able to differentiate that "this is Bitcoin, and this ethereum and Tron" so when mentioning them she's always happy.

Of course you can't mention countries without mentioning Nigeria. This is because lot of people know who about Bitcoin and they are actively involving themselves into Bitcoin transaction on a daily basis.

We can then name everything and cover it "they will have more time to recover". Yes, they could have more time to recover, but also such early loss or failure could make so much stress that when they grow up they will never get even close to investment or crypto. Children go through things differently than adults. They get more disappointed from failure than adults, because they are not so prepared to real world.

Nevertheless, I would not push children on learning crypto, investment, making money. Maybe give an introduction part to make children familiar with new words, phrases. But if child shows no response or interest, leave it until teenager period.

On the moment that it do show up some interest at the time that you do made out some introduction in regarding about it. Dont trying out to force it out because if trying out to introduce things on a forceful way then it wont be that effective because they will be just that simply forgetting it. So its important that you should be seeing out whether your kids showing off some signs about having the interest on dealing up into crypto. Somehow its not that bad on trying out to make some introductions or some simple idea on telling them on what it is. If they do show off some signs about interested about it then this is where  you do make further explaination but if they do find it out to be complicated then its better to let it pass and wait up for the right time.

My kid isnt spoiled, but show no interest to money. Has more creative personality, than money oriented. And on a contrast there is neighbors kid, who is 7 and just went to school. That kid spends way to much time in gadgets and his current dream is to become blogger and earn by blogging and content creation. Maybe, introduction to crypto for that kid might be useful if that kid is so twisted on money and regular job does not apply to him. However, as a parent, as wish that my kid will be kid for as long as possible and have carefree time for as long as possible.

As parents, we have our own considerations for our children, maybe some think to let children spend their childhood playing and don't need to give them knowledge about crypto. However, if children are interested and curious about crypto, we should give them basic knowledge about crypto. So everything is according to our children's interests and abilities, don't force it.

Introducing Bitcoin to children in my opinion is also better from an early age. It doesn't mean that they have to be able to understand Bitcoin in depth, but at least familiarizing them with various information about Bitcoin and crypto from an early age is indeed necessary, so that they can also be more prepared as their age and mental readiness develop. Not to force, but just get used to it.

and it's true, the competition in the future will be very tight, much tighter, not only in the offline world but also online, that's why preparing yourself from an early age is quite necessary, but still according to their age.
