Admin, isnt it time to merge boards??

Admin, it is already time to merge boards.

Look here, we have 3 boards for exactly same thing:

Competitions & Contests
Crypto Raffle / Lottery
Random Crypto Giveaway / Airdrop

Why so many? It is humanly impossible to track all boards that do the same thing. There are several other examples like Forum Related and Basic Questions about the Forum.

We are losing content because this forum is too hard to navigate.

There are some boards that in my opinion would be very good to be merged
It would be more organized and with more posts

I don't know if it's very difficult to do this on the programming side, but I think the forum itself would be even better
It's very good to have several boards for organization, but some have become too empty over time

In my local language in Indonesia (Bahasa), all of them have almost the same meaning and I think it is also okay to combine the 3 subforums into 1 subforum.

Competitions & Contests = Kompetisi dan Kontes = same meaning with different words.
Crypto Raffle / Lottery = Undian Kripto / Undian = same meaning with different words.
Random Crypto Giveaway / Airdrop = Memberi acak secara gratis / Airdrop = same meaning with different words.

Globally it may have different meanings and of course this policy depends on the right choice of the Admin. But for me personally, as an Indonesian, the 3 words all have the same meaning and for me it seems appropriate to merge the 3 subforums into 1 subforum.

There is no discussion about it there... I believe this is something for the admin to do.

Some deadline would be interesting. I don't see any boards beign merged, but some being created (or at least creating new redirects, which is bad in my opinion, making hard to navigate)

I think there was a discussion about it earlier, but it was difficult to match the viewing aspects. admin had a different idea about why boards like this are a good thing, while in actual use it is a total failure.

3 subboards are enough for the entire earning section. Signature campaign, Airdrops & bounty campaign, and all other reward contests.

You are right, we are all missing opportunities because this is confused.

Actually, it hurts SEO, it doesnt improve it.

What admin is doing is trying to trick Google, which only harms the SEO. This is called keyword cannibalization

dudes, i have worked in seo since more than 20 years
I am not trying to trick google, i do not care much about google
believe it or not, these different sections had different roles (including who can view them or post in them).

we had restructured the forum multiple times, some changes will still take place.


Concerning google keywords: this applies for websites not forums, goog have a totally different set of rules for forums.

I acknowledge that you have been doing a great work in restructuring the forum and I urge you not to relent. The forum now has many knowledgeable and quality contributors from the other forum. This is possible because of the idea of teleporting (very commendable).
A more organised lease number of boards will ease moderation and give us a good user experience. I also do not care much about google, we first.

In your continuous attempt to improve the forum, go with the Thread first model, where threads are more powerful than boards. In BTT, we have iconic threads like WO, which is powerful than the board it belongs to. So, with the thread first mindset, we careless about numerous boards but quality threads.

I created the forum for different crypto crowds, hence some section might look similar but are targeted for entirely different crowds, and by that i mean:
- bounty hunters
- signature subscribers
- investors
- whales

these crowds are not the same, and thus the targeting is not the same

so while you might be looking at things from your perspective, i am looking at things from a global perspective.

Exactly in every creation, there must be a purpose and when people came from different direction, they see things differently mostly when some of the forum participants came from a similar forum UI which creation of boards are differently designed and they would want things to be done in the previous forum they are coming from by forgetting that the targeted audience are not the same. And one this is that if the purpose of a particular board is not crowded enough then it is good to emerged with another similar board for good functionality.

Merging those boards like this-  Competitions & Contests merged with Crypto Raffle / Lottery  and  Crypto Giveaway / Airdrop remains the same will also serve the purpose you just listed.

Mind you some of the signature subscribers are still the whales and bounty hunters.  I know it not easy running the backend alone but some request are worth looking into.
