Where is the Notify button?

On forum notification settings page it says: "To receive notifications from a topic, click the "notify" button while viewing it."

I can't find any such button anywhere! How to make use of this feature?

Unfortunately, notify button only show and work only on specific boards. If you want to have such feature you can use this AltcoinsTalks Telegram Notifier !!! . You can track users, boards and get notified when someone quoted your post or mentioned your username.

PX-Z   Have clarify everything for you that it only works on specific boards, the telegram bot is the best and perfect solution to receive notification either when being mention or receive negative or positive karma and also when you have been given a bad or good badge from the forum and a lot more. So the telegram notifier is really the perfect option try and use it it really perfect.
On my telegram I pin my notifier bot so I won’t miss any notification or any other messages from the forum. Try and use the bot it really perfect and genuine.
Just try the bot notifier and enjoy it perfectly.

Unfortunately TG is not an option for me (and even if it were I don't really trust TG enough to be happy with that). I guess it should be possible to implement something similar to the TG bot if one is motivated enough.

  I guess the admin has an answer for that question about disabling some boards from getting notify.
But what the reason for not trusting telegram I know many scams and fraud go on their but you can adjust from being or getting scam from other users if you are using the special features of telegram which you have to pay for the telegram premium for better feature and secured features.
The telegram bot is not something that will lead to any scam or any negative activities many users have been using the bot for so many years and haven't noticed or complain about any negative activities so the telegram bot is secure and save. I don't know why you don't want to use telegram may we know your reason behind that or is it personal.
But as in my opinion the bot is very reliable and save and you won't miss any notification from the forum which the bot won't notify you so the bot is perfect and very reliable. Mine is pin on my telegram to know how often I use it and check for notification every hours or any time I'm chanced to check  it, why don't you trust telegram what wrong can you eligthen us a little.

It's not the bot per se I have an issue with, it's Telegram. Why do you believe your data is safe and secure with Telegram and Pavel Durov?

Also you need a unique phone number and mainline stock non-rooted Android or iPhone to register a Telegram account. So besides having to buy and set up a new smartphone, burner SIMs or non-data eSIMs aren't a thing in some countries... I looked into their NFT-number thing they advertised where you're supposed to be able to buy a TG number as an NFT on TON blockchain and use that to set up a TG account. That whole market turned out to be a scam in the end, which did not help my trust in TG.

There's a lot more to say about why need to decentralize away from platforms like Telegram/Twitter/Youtube/Reddit/GitHub as a community as well as why Telegram in particular is problematic but I will leave it at that for now.

Truly, there are lots of scammers using the Telegram app, I know one can stay away from those scams, as no one will hold anybody's hand and make him/her do what they don't want to. If the need for a notifier is very important, and for now, it is not available to all boards in the forum, you can create a telegram account only for the bot notifier, otherwise, you can make use of the forum without a notifier, and still participate in what's happening here, only to be really active to keep up.

Concerning all other social media platforms, are you saying you have no accounts with any of the above listed platforms? If you don't, I think it is not wise to also have an account here or any other platform as well, cause the moderators/admins of the forum has some rights to every registered account on this forum. I also think you should be a very good trader, and work well with Mixers and decentralized exchanges, so as to keep your identity safe from people.

There is no notification button in this forum and if you want to receive a notification from the forum, you should read this thread https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=315728.0 and follow the steps to add up in the telegram and start to receive notification from the forum. This is how it also done in the other forum. But if you are particular looking for the notification feature in the forum then it is not available for now.

And I don't think the admin will add it.

Well you know more than me in the forum but if there are as a notification button on the forum would have been there on the menu bar for all to see and it is not there. This is where it should be

The assumption that it is not in the forum is not entirely accurate. When you answer someone's question, it is better to say more accurate things, not just a position on some case.
