As far as Bitcoin is concerned, we are not anymore in the era of the wild, Wild West hence many countries have already adopted appropriate regulation's to make sure that people will treat Bitcoin they way it should be and not be used for illegal tricks, Now, of course, it can help if there will be more and more people who are into Bitcoin because that can lead for the government to listen to their constituents but I think the most important factor is the understanding and appreciation of the people in power. As we have seen in China, the government just put a blanket ban on Bitcoin even if there is a strong investment and use in and of Bitcoin. With all the milestones already achieved by Bitcoin in the past many years, the road to mainstream adoption has not yet been reached but I know that we can be there in the right time.
