I am in full agreement that selective shorting is a viable strategy given that you have conviction on your view about the space and the underlying technology. Hence its limited and decentralise characteristics have made it rather stable despite being tested with the general big market shocks. While, the diversification as such with other coins such as SOLANA and BNB is quite healthy when taking wisely into consideration. The outcome of money saved and added is hard to forecast in the future; what is clear is the gesture is not wasted in vain if it is in harmony with the purpose of having an aim for the unknown future and taking responsibility for what is being built.

Actually I agree with not teaching crypto to others, because the risk of investing in crypto is high. And the crypto market is difficult to predict when experiencing a long correction will panic those who are new to learning about crypto.

The reason some people invested in crypto and regretted ever knowing about cryptocurrency is because they invested for the wrong reasons and with an undefined purpose based on what they were told. I partly blame those who introduced them to crypto. If they had explained fully what cryptocurrency is and the risks involved, the new investors would have prepared their minds for what to expect and, at the same time, put in some plans to minimise the risks.

Personally, I won't force crypto on anyone. I can only explain crypto to you when you come to me for clarity. I'm not going to sugar-coat my words to anyone, some coins are extremely risky to invest in. It is left for you to decide if you still want to go on with it.

Of course, teaching or sharing knowledge on crypto can be dangerous since we understand that the market has many risks, and a number of individuals have inadequate expectations of the change in value. To a certain extent, temperament which is not always good may be affected since individuals who begin something new are not prepared to make drastic changes that may happen. Like you rightly mentioned, the person already has a preconceived notion and not intrigued to learn about crypto. One important point to note here is the word "Interest". interest in any subject or thing is a fundamental requirement in teaching and learning, as it helps the learner pay attention and maintain focus. It also facilitates the learner's ability to retain knowledge. The truth is whenever someone is not interested in a thing then there is little or nothing you can do to help. Sharing up some opportunity to some people wont be that bad on which it do shows that you do want someone to have that potential earning once they do able to deal up with something on which of course not all people that will be getting interested into specially if they do first time on hearing it. There might be those who do get interested and there are ones who do just simply that neglect it out because they cant just that be able to bare up with the risks on having that. The problem is that we are too quick to judge someone’s effort based with regard to the response that receives. Perhaps, not all people will comprehend or find it appealing when we share something with them and that is completely acceptable. However, if much less than enthusiasm response is bear as a signal to cease, then we are abdicating our rights to chart out our path and destiny in life to other people without even their consent. I will do the same way as you. I'll never be interested to teach the type of that person. If he feels that he knows everything, he can do it alone, there is no reason to teach him. I only will try to teach someone who feels that he has a lack of knowledge and he wants to learn seriously. If someone doesn't have an intention to learn, why we must teach him? We must be wise to share knowledge, knowledge should be shared to the person who wants the knowledge.
