I will do the same way as you. I'll never be interested to teach the type of that person. If he feels that he knows everything, he can do it alone, there is no reason to teach him. I only will try to teach someone who feels that he has a lack of knowledge and he wants to learn seriously. If someone doesn't have an intention to learn, why we must teach him? We must be wise to share knowledge, knowledge should be shared to the person who wants the knowledge.
Indeed, it is quite tricky when teaching people like that, people who really feel they have more understanding or feel they can understand faster and make us look trivial in front of them, then it is better to avoid it. because if at some point there are some things that they think are not appropriate, then they will actually counter us more, even when we help them, it will not make them feel satisfied.

and I personally will not teach someone again if it is not because of their own desire to learn about crypto and also because they have a great desire to learn. I think it will be quite a waste of time if I teach people who are not serious, have no motivation, and do not have a great desire to learn, while their passion and desire to earn money in crypto are very great. this is not comparable to the effort to prepare themselves.

Many members have posted their views but in the end it is down to the person trying to explain to others at what point they should pause or give up entirely. If you know you are not making progress when explaining to others, it is wise to consider stopping.

Here is another thread that basically has received many answers and opinions therefore should probably be locked.

You can only teach crypto to someone who finds interest in it, not someone who doesn't. Because trying to convince someone who doesn't have an interest in it, will lead to a problem when they don't see the anticipated profits they were told about crypto investment.

It is preferable and wise not to bother yourself by letting people know the reason why they should invest in crypto. Those who try to convince people they know are later blamed for it, for letting their friends invest in crypto

          -     Bitcoin or cryptocurrency for me is like gold, which we don't need to talk about. So the logic is that if we have gold and someone asks for gold from us,
of course you who have gold will give it to the person asking for gold?

Of course our answer is that we won't give it, why? They have to struggle to have gold, that's why they mine it with difficulty
and others buy Gold even though the price is high.

In crypto investment, we should also focus on learning and seeking knowledge ourselves, because it will have a good impact on our mentality in learning.
Learning from personal experience gives room to learn in a natural manner without overly constrained emotions. When we engage, a constructive environment is created provided the other people respect the learning process more than the disregard for others. The crypto globe or any sphere that is associated with certain levels of complexity has its own unique characters. We should take our time to learn things so that we don’t force ourselves into getting into the next level as per other people’s suggestions. If we familiarise ourselves with the concept of thinking and receiving information on our own without the negative insults of the condescendable mistress, then, the spirit of learning remains intact and comfortable. It is actually constructive to have no pressure to feel smarter within the certain environment to form the complete and clear explanation.

You know, it's like once investors dive into the crypto world, it's tough for them to just walk away. They get hooked on that feeling of being in control and raking in profits just by hitting those buy and sell buttons on their smartphones or PCs. It beats the heck out of grinding away in some dull office or a dusty construction site, right? Usually, most of them will only call it quits when they've run out of dollars to keep playing the risky game.

        -     It's really simple to do, and we should also understand the situation that we are facing is not good in our activity in terms of trading here in the crypto space.
If our method is not progressive, we should change the way the trader thinks about getting a profit in trading.

Or as you say, its time to take a break for awhile, it's not bad to stop for a while. and just come back another day, our method should be different

The issue on here is on that people wont be stopping just because they dont like for them to miss out any opportunity for them to trade and thats why they would be continuing it despite of the current condition or situation that they are into. Learning isnt that something being forced or or something that needed up to  do it eventually considering that there are some signs that the market is not good. Stopping or having a break will be that recommended as you do able to know yoourself on how to handle up various conditions on which this do give out that approach on not to push up  any trading decisions. It is just that stopping will be taking up such good control towards your mentality since not all will be that goo at this one.

Re: when should you stop?
« Reply #68 on: April 19, 2025, 03:22:59 AM »
The issue on here is on that people wont be stopping just because they dont like for them to miss out any opportunity for them to trade and thats why they would be continuing it despite of the current condition or situation that they are into. Learning isnt that something being forced or or something that needed up to  do it eventually considering that there are some signs that the market is not good. Stopping or having a break will be that recommended as you do able to know yoourself on how to handle up various conditions on which this do give out that approach on not to push up  any trading decisions. It is just that stopping will be taking up such good control towards your mentality since not all will be that goo at this one.
You rightly said that sometimes the market gives negative signals and even though it is a feeling to remain invested is good, sometimes one has to step out. It is in this aspect when we continue trading with no time to rest that we end up over powering our emotions on our decisions. Therefore, you should be able to step back from a situation and be able to make better decisions since you are not clouded by emotion. There are times in life, that if one just have to take a back seat and watch or pause and observe, in terms of career, the future appears to be bright.

when someone is asking you about wanting to earn some extra money and you try to recommend cryptocurrency because it’s what you have been focusing on for quite a few years now but then they already have a preconceived notion about crypto and they are already acting like they know everything about crypto and just overall remains uninterested, wouldn’t you be less motivated to teach them about crypto?

at that point, i’d know that this person is not open minded and doesn’t want to actually learn something new so honestly i should just stop at that point and not teach them about crypto what about you? will you keep teaching this kind of person?
Nah, there is no point in that, if that person is close to you like brother, father etc. then it is good to push them to learn about it, because it is what we should do for family. But if that person is not that close to you then I think leave them as they are.

So if still that person don't want to learn then what fun in teaching them, if you won't be interested, and someone keep teaching you about something would it be doing any better, I guess yeah, at some point it can, as when the time will hit them otherwise they won't realize the importance of education.

I get that we want to contribute to the development and education of those most important to us because of the moral duty we have. But you are correct, if for instance, the person does not want to learn or even if that is the last thing he or she wants, then it is even stressful and not even courteous to attempt teaching that person. Sometimes it is better to leave them alone so that they can discover it on their own as they may be more willing to learn. In time, they will find this out for themselves and quite possibly they will then understand why it was we were attempting to convey to them.

I will stop teaching them and providing information about crypto, it is difficult to unite thoughts if they are not in line, why do we bother inviting and teaching them what crypto is if they don't want it, but I will have more respect for people who come and really want to learn crypto, I will spend the same time learning with them

I can understand they are only there for the money to profit but at least give some time to learn even just about Bitcoin and blockchain. The rest of the things like trading can be learn along the way when he sells what he invested.

Looking at the chart and the market on the exchanges is something else to learn also. Its enough to burden yourself when the guy isn't even there to learn.

The exception is that when my wife was trying to learn. She wasn't interested until I send her some BTC and make her trade on the p2p. I have to make her understand over and over.
I am the opposite of you, my husband has a hard time understanding crypto issues, by looking at the graph, the craziness of the bitcoin price he feels it is very crazy, and he thinks that if we lose a large amount of money for our fiat it will be very detrimental, regret will be useless, he said, especially since I often tell him that I used to be careless in saving the wallet phrase, from that incident my husband desperately forbade me from continuing in crypto because he felt that all this was a cyber world hoax

When someone is uninterested or has a preconceived notion about cryptocurrency, it can be difficult to effectively teach them, because they might not fully understand or appreciate the benefits of it. their preconceived notion can leads to misconception and misunderstanding in this situation, you should know the reason why the want to learn cryptocurrency and what they hope to achieve in it. and if the person is unwilling to learn it best to acknowledge their disinterest and move on.

After the disappointment I got from those I spent time teaching them about crypto everything that I know and they actually are interested in the beginning but they don't last for like three months and decided to not pursue they just tell me "it's not their line of earning money" that is why I am not giving them a chance for now because once is enough. They actually approached me again but I made excuses and since I am an introvert I stayed at home most of the time and that made me stay out of their line because they just wasted my precious time and effort.

I think that your opinion is very appropriate in this time. So i am also agree with your prefer comment. I think that cryptocurrency space will be best profitable source for all cryptocurrency users. If they can acquire knowledge about in cryptocurrency world. I also believe that if we can understand in cryptocurrency market and if we want to conscious carefully observe in cryptocurrency market, i think that cryptocurrency market will best comfortable space for us. So when we talk about cryptocurrency market anyone, we should tell correctly. But if they can not interest from it, we should stop that's time.
