Whenever lust comes, if you are used to masturbating, you instead exercise; it'll help you develop better body and it's good redirection of sexual energy.
I think this has been mentioned on researches about porn addiction too. Exercising helps to reduce energy and improve the connection on our brain tissue iirc, which in turn reduces the rewarding feeling of masturbation. Unfortunately, it isn't as easy as saying if you feel A, do B.

Btw, I tend to use earphones to reduce noise lately because I live near a busy street. Probably not a huge life hack but I find sleeping with a noise cancelling ear phone to be quite good if you can find one that suits your ear.

I do same, if I am hearing noise, it makes my mind restless so to keep myself calm in noisy areas I use earphones and put on my favorite songs.

I admire you for being able to do this. I cannot wear earphones to keep up with sleeping. Even on the busy roads, I just can't, Maybe my other life hack is what I have read when I search about breathing techniques that's done by the armies when they are having a hard time sleeping. Long breathe ins for three times and it works for me. So I guess the life hack that I have learned in general is to have a long breath in when I'm in uncertain moments or when I feel anxious and can't sleep well.

a 15 minute nap can be so helpful usually when we are sleepy or tired ...
If I try a 15-minute nap when I am sleepy or tired, I will wake up 1-2 hours later. Do you know what I think? When you are exhausted, it is okay to sleep.
of course you can sleep and if you are sleepy you should but let us be honest we do not always get sleepy during the right time sometimes it might be too late in the day like 7pm for you to sleep just to wake up a few hours later when supposedly your sleeping window should be in that case you can't or you shouldn't sleep instead you need to fight it until you get to a proper time for sleeping

some people might also feel sleepy in work or anything like that and it is not always allowed to sleep during work or at all but sometimes just a few minutes of silence and relaxation can help
