The turning point of my life that I have learned so far is never to let anyone but your close relatives know your innermost secret because someday they will use it against you.

I have in the past been betrayed by someone I called my friend. She spread the little secret I told her about my life to people I don't want them to learn about it. That got me pissed off, because of that. On that note, I decide never to let anyone know any little secret about my life.

Absolutely right, human beings can be very deceptive and cunning, if care is not taking, they might cause one early death, because of how most people trust those who tell called friends and this friends are still the ones that will kill them, maybe because they are not happy seeing the other person happy, or maybe because of greed, jealousy and selfishness.
It’s better not to disclose some secrets that might hurt you in the future if disclose, let it just be between you and God and not you and humans, though people are not the same but you have to thread with caution.

I won't say my decision is what shaped my life, but the parents who took wrong choices made me where I am now, it's a blessing in disguise but it helped me to understand my potential and grow a better person as of now.

Not really. I would have been living a better life if they had made the right decisions, but at least their bad decisions made me a better version of myself.

Moral: We can't decide what others think and decide but we we have the power to do for ourselves then there is no excuse even if we have to start from the rock bottom.

You have every right to be angry. honestly, it's really painful when someone you trusted betrays that trust. It's really important to be more cautious about the kind of person you expose your secrets to, because it is not all friends that are worthy of it. I rather tell my enemy my secrets rather than my friend, because my enemy will not even want to hear my name talk less of having time to discuss or gossip about me, because his or her hatred for me wouldn't allow him/her to do so.

You will never thinks that she will do such thing to you because you consider her a friend, don't always give people your all, because it not everyone that is whom you think they are. Your friends can gossip so much about you, most especially when you are not with them. As a saying goes "keep your friend close and your enemy closer, because your friend may become your enemy, and your enemy may become your friend".

If you want to keep something secret, you don't tell it to anybody, that's the only way it remains secure.

Your friends can gossip so much about you, most especially when you are not with them. As a saying goes "keep your friend close and your enemy closer, because your friend may become your enemy, and your enemy may become your friend".

One way to gauge gossipers is that — if they gossip with you about other people, it's likely that they will be gossiping about you to other people. You can save yourself from lot of bad apples this way.

Also, that enemy saying reminded me of Godfather movie. It's masterpiece movie.

There are some experiences that are not shareable in the public and they are private forever. Just like what the Bible says, Anyone that says he or she has not sin, the person is a lier. And just like this thread, if anyone comes her and says he has not faced or experienced any bad things in life, he is a  lier just that we can't share everything in the public.

sorry to bank in on your experience but it reminded me of something i once realized that family members do not always mean they will be there for you or that they will be loyal to you by the end of the day they will always be prioritizing themselves and they will never want to be involved with you during your lowest points so while it’s good to get along well with your family, don’t fully trust them and be naive

Absolutely right, nobody is going to leave to take care or prioritize others than themselves, they will always want the best for themselves, not that they won’t be there for you but they will be when you have money and you valued, that is when they know your worth and wants to be around you.
But if you are not bringing anything or adding value to their lives, you won’t be recognized and people will not treat you, as they should, although not everyone but it’s best to always live rightly.

I mean that's true for everybody including ourselves, if you find that person is not adding value to your life, you will not want to be around them, because there is no reason to.

The lesson that changed my life is that I trust people too quickly. And because of this, I have faced many dangers and from here I have learned that one should not trust anyone too quickly all the time and everywhere. And of course, one should never share one's secrets with anyone, no matter how close they are. Since I started applying these things, my life has been progressing very well.

Of course, it can really be of help, one should learn to keep secret to oneself except you can tell to those people that you trust maybe your family members, because there are might be some people that can't tell your secret to anyone even though many people will want to use your secret against you which will make you feel regret about telling but all the same not everyone is the same.

Take risks.

We know that in life, there will always be risks. As for me, I will connect it with investing because I took the risk a few years ago to invest into cryptocurrency. I might not have the best life for myself, but I'm living way better than what I expected to be way back then. If not only for cryptocurrency, I might be working as an employee right now and working for 8 hours. If I didn't took the risk, I might be spending most of my entire life working and has a minimum wage. Taking risks in my life is what put me in a life that I am right now.

Always take risks. Yes, there's harm in taking risks sometimes, but in every mistakes that you will be facing, there will be learnings.

I respect your decision making to risk it when several others prefer to stick to the norm. There is nothing much that I cam say than to tell you to be hard working no matter how little your income is don't give up and picture a bigger tomorrow. With determination and commitment, you can overcome any difficulties that you are passing through. See challenges as a means to make you stronger and look for opportunities in your suffering so that you can use it to elevate yourself out of poverty. Lastly, put all your hope and trust in God.

I cannot point out just one, there are so many tough decisions i have taken in life and i am glad i did. One is that i stopped worrying about what people say, as long as i know it is right and it makes me happy, then i will go on to do it. Another thing that changed my life is finding out about BTC and i am glad i did, it has changed my understanding of finance for good.

On point, all these that you have listed here has been a life changing encounter to most people.
It has really change their lives for the best, because one listens to what people will say can not do or have anything in life or become a better person in life, because whatever thing that one do, people will always talk about it whether good or bad, that is why whatever thing that one feels its good and can be beneficial to them and others, they should go ahead and do it, just like you said. Also BTC has become the joy of the people, ever since most people get to know about it, they don't care about the help the government will provide such as job opportunity, BTC has help many unemployed citizens to get jobs and this has really help them to alleviate poverty and some people use the opportunity to empower themselves through it. Which is why many are really thankful for such opportunity.

My father often said that I must either do something perfectly, or dont waste time doing at all, because bad or average result I will get anyway. As well as such result will have others. And I will be like others, I will never succeed. I am not 100% sure that this is that one lesson, but that helped for sure.

The older I get, the more I value knowledge and wisdom of my parents. The older I get, the more I understand how wrong I was and how correct my parents were. However, as I parent, I think I am not ready yet to form, to give or fully understand which lesson I should give to children. But I will try to make my child to understand, that money is an important instrument, but not something to dedicate life to.

Yeah, it changed how I see things. I started taking life one step at a time and stopped stressing over what I can’t control. Talking to someone, setting small goals, and staying patient really helped.
