If Bitcoin goes to 500 dollars, will you buy it?

Success story? Dropping from 100k to 500 will be called a success story?
You realize this means wiping out trillions in profit, sending exchanges and crypto lenders into bankruptcy, making business completely impossible to still function only with crypto as there is simply no value left and much more.

Like it or not wages are still paid in $, with the value going down by 50x the volume and the fees got by those services will also drop by 50x, how will they stay afloat?

Imagine a casino has a high roller that bets 1BTC every week, they fleece him by 10% and they get 10k, now the high roller has only $500 and the casino gets $50, they won't even be able to pay their servers.

I think you dont get my "part of success story". Not everyone in the world knows, follow or heard about cryptocurrency. These people can be found and they can be told story how Bitcoin made growth from $100 to $500, and if they dont jump in the train now, they will miss chance to earn. I meant that there are people who should not be told about $109k, but should be told about how Bitcoin price multiplies. Kind of what we see now if we look on the graph, weekly price increase of almost 5%, when there are those who have bought at $109k and are still in a loss.

You're genuinely thinking that after a crash from $100k to $500, erasing 2 trillions of wealth in an instant, somehow you will manage to gett he same hype around it and get back to $100k. Sorry but you're delusional at best, how many crashes have happened in the stock market that have proven beyond recovery and none involved such an erase of wealth.

That aside, how are you going to market crypto as an investment after that? Say once "store of value" after it and you're getting lynched in the street!
Furthermore, you don't realize there will be no success story for anyone who is holding, you once had money to buy the newest E-Klass, now you have money for a fancy pair of shoes;)

They may experience bad thing in the past. I guess they got huge loss because of investing in Bitcoin. But they can't blame Bitcoin because they may invest in Bitcoin with zero knowledge. Now, they say Bitcoin to drop to $500. 

I have been reluctant to reply to this thread for sometime now, because I can't imagine why on earth someone would think of such a thing. I guess someone who has invested a lot won't even think such a thing, knowing fully well that his or her money is on the line. At least the OP has nothing to lose. What a question. It's just like asking, 'if you see a Cow fly, would you still eat beef' ?. How I'm even supposed to answer that.

Of course, it is impossible to drop to $20k. It is far from the current price, it is $104k now. In this year, we see that the price always stays above $70k, it even reached $109k. Instead of dropping below $20k, it is more likely to increase above $120k.

So many people have taken their eyes of $20K.
If we were still at $60K, then $20K would have been a thing of discussion, but at this point, there are other things to discuss about.

         -     The question is, what would be the strongest reason to return to $500? We all know that if it really does happen to return to that price, do we think the prices of the top altcoins will also remain at the price they have now? Because for several halving cycles we have seen that they follow the price movement of bitcoin whether its price goes up or down in the market.

That means, the entire crypto market will also have a crisis for sure if that really happens, though I know that many people will still buy bitcoin and also the cryptocurrencies that are in the top altcoins in the market.

I know Bitcoin will never go down to $500 again, since we are imagining possibilities my answer is yes i will buy Bitcoin as a matter of fact if i have any landed properties i will sell it to fill my bags only that i may not be faster than whales, if they can buy Bitcoin in thousands when the price is $60K+ how many will they get if it drops to $500, we may not have any left to buy unless they pity on minnow investors.
