Newbie in the crypto space

The crypto world is not an easy subject at all so prepare your skills and a strong mindset to enter the world of cryptocurrency. We were all newbies here once and many of us lost a lot of money in the beginning. Moreover, practice from cryptocurrency forums and build your own experience. Then gradually focus on your goals from crypto. Like there are strategies like trading or investing so start with small funds. It may take longer, but you will only increase your investment funds when you can take on enough risk and make a profit.

Have more common sense perhaps? There are a lot of things/signals/red flags that are screaming that a project is just a money grab but newbies ignore because of hype and greed.

To be fair, you need to know some stuff before having good common sense. I do agree that the basic principle of too good to be true is quite easy to grasp, but knowing the limit of "too good" is important before you can follow that principle properly. Which is why there's nothing to suggest other than newbie should read a lot, whether it's about scams or about how they should manage their wallet properly. Since OP know about this forum, it's also a good suggestion to ask if he's stumped with a troublesome stuff, after he tried to read or find the answer of course.

I'm not really sure of what you mean by everyone wanted to take advantage of others? Of course if you sell then someone will have to pick up the crypto that you have sold but it doesn't mean that they are taking advantage of you. Only you can decide whether to sell or not.

As for the advise, just take is slowly, don't think that crypto is a get rich quick scheme otherwise, you might lose a lot of money. Just study and learn and read a lot o posts here or in the other community. Take it one day at a time and don't rush things up.

Very good point, you are absolutely right.. not always something that sells and buys is about profit... it can be one of the uses too... in the crypto world every request does not mean buying at a cheap price, because we never know how someone will use the crypto....

And for newbies who think crypto is a get rich quick scheme, that's what actually makes many people start to have high expectations... making it even more heartbroken when they see the reality that crypto is not as easy as imagined... nothing is easy when it comes to money, if it were, then there would be no poor people in this world...

Agreed. Since scammers are getting smarter day by day, having general knowledge about past scams might not be enough for newbies to stay safe but they will need to keep themselves up to date with the recent news and information so that they can have a know-how about what new scams are circulating in the market right now and how they can stay safe from them.

Forums, such as this one or Bitcointalk, will often have such stuff posted for members to check out, but apart from that, one can easily find a lot of new stuff, such as news, informative articles, and a bunch of other stuff from news websites such as CoinDesk or Cointelegraph, etc.

Newbies should try to get themselves equipped with as much knowledge and information as possible. It will help them with their journey.

Hmm for newbie I will say listen to others but act on your own intelligence because 10 people would give different ideas and a newbie can be confused so to save time and energy they should listen to all and use their common sense and study to choose which to follow for this action either it is trading, staking, farming, investing etc.

I was a newbie once and I remember if I would not be a part of BTT community or this community I might have lost my funds either to scammers or fraudster  because on interest everything exists but here they come up with the important topics which are necessary for us to read.

To be honest, you should take your time, learn the concept, and ask questions about anything you don't really understand, especially when it comes to cryptocurrency trading, to reduce risk because you're still a novice. However, I think you will learn more if you continue, so stay focused and have a profitable trading career.

Of course, it is useful to keep the habit of not taking everything as is. As information is received from various sources or viewed from different angles, it makes sense to cheque directions one way or another. It is not a matter of rightness, it is a matter of rightness arbitration. In using more than one source, we can lessen leanings and attain a clearer view of the real picture. When a question is interpreted in a very broad way, all what one has to do is put it in a slightly better way that is more defined and does not lead to many interpretations. Since then, such small things as that can help to make a conversation much more productive.

It is not easy to achieve success in crypto, but it is not difficult for those who come here, get adequate education and keep their greed and emotions under control and prolong their journey. There is always a regular generation of advice to newbies, I put generating because as the day is going in cryptocurrency that's how good and sad experience are coming to people and they will advice from the data, so actually no matter how many advice that's giving to a newbies they shouldn't think that is all they have to no, so actually the first and the highest of them is learning because without learning you will continue to be a newbie without growing, so is the learning that would give you the experience.

My only one advice to those who are going to start in crypto space is to not trust anyone especially when it comes to money. I've seen many frauds on this space and that's why it's hard to find genuine people in your early days of the crypto world. However, once you start knowing the crypto space then you'll find some good and genuine friends who are trust worthy but in initial days trust your own self instead of trusting anyone else.

The first thing you should do is understand what crypto is, i don't know the cryptocurrency you are interested in, but if you are like me who is interested in BTC, you take your time to understand everything about BTC. It goes without saying that your security is very important, so you have to learn how to protect your funds and the wallets you should be making use of.

Don't think too much, all of them have been newbies in this crypto industry.

Just, there are some notes that must be considered before starting into this crypto industry.

Of course, at least it is readiness, from various aspects:
- Mental preparation, because crypto is indeed related to mental testing, mental preparation is very important here so as not to panic easily and get carried away by FOMO
- Knowledge and understanding of crypto.
This is very important, don't be in a blind situation when entering crypto and immediately spend money to buy certain crypto without understanding at all.
- Money management, wisely, yes, even if you have a lot of money, make sure you have wise money management, so that your money doesn't run out quickly, and make sure it is an investment in top coins only, especially Bitcoin as the starting point for you to enter crypto investment.

Do not rush things. Others might be good with their journey but it's a different start for each of us. Do not be jealous with the success that the others reached because everyone has been through a lot. And that's why if there are some chances that a newbie is looking to this space, they have to be patient just like the early ones did. I've been patient and that's what I have seen with the others when they do so because it's given me the idea that growth on this space won't happen overnight.
