...I think I have bought so many kitchen appliances that I havent even taken out of the box, that I had to throw them away because I dont have room to keep them.

I have done same, I made impulse purchase one day for products being on discount on Amazon, and they are still all in boxes. I am not particularly sad about this purchase though, cause price has increased now, and I am stingy, so would never throw something unless completely useless.

This has happened to a lot of us, you get some money and then you start buying things that you do not even need. It could be a car, when you work remotely and you find out you haven't driven it for weeks, or an expensive watch, when you have enough wristwatches, etc. What is that thing you bought when you got a good amount of money, only for you to later find out that you actually didn't need the item.
Hmmm. TBH, as I read this post, I'm thinking of things that I bought that I didn't really need, but I can hardly think of one.

I have a watch though that I bought for around 20$ more or less only, and I'm not using it for a while now, but that's helpful if I'm doing some exercise or jogging at least. Unfortunately, that isn't the case now. Whenever I buy something, I think twice or thrice first if I need it or I just want it for most of the time. I mean my priority for most of the time is to invest that money into different assets than buying something that's depreciating over time.

Well, if I will be thinking of something. I guess it's Pokemon Cards since I don't have any luck of pulling an expensive one that I feel that I'm losing money hence, I don't need it. :D

Have you all noticed how all those things that we have bought but actually dont need, does not cost much. We are all victims of marketing, laziness and own greed. Returning to my purchases of kitchen appliances, I have so many things that would help me to cook, cut, open or peel easier, but I rarely use them, because I am lazy to get them from shelve (also dont want spend time on that), and lazy to clean them after. And all of them are cheap. All of them were purchased under "I will definitely try that" idea, but I rarely try new.

No, I don't, and peer pressure doesn't affect me. I use android and I am never going to fall for the Apple pride and yes I do have a few watches in my collection, but not that expensive, and I rarely wear them recent days. Buy shirts once in a while and that's it.

I always get the temptations when it comes to gadgets, but I just curb my feelings that the urge fades away once I get the product in my hands.

That is how life should be, but most people do allow peer group or peer pressure to always intimate them or makes them feel that they are not trying best or they are not living a comfortable life, which might make them take or make some decision without thinking about it, which will eventually lead them to destruction which they might be regretting for life.
So whatever that people ought not to have at that time, which they know it won't be relevant for them, they should forget about it, instead do or have things that is worth it.

I bought a musical instrument I didn't know how to play because it's a local merchandise, and it broke shortly after I returned from my trip. I think that's my biggest regret of buying stuff I don't really need. Other than that, I guess buying gaming merchandise or a subscription also counts, although I do enjoy some benefits from that. Luckily, it's easy to stop doing that because there's no peer pressure or something similar, and I don't have signs of addiction, so that's fortunate. It helps that stuffs get expensive nowadays, so I'm forced to save to make sure I can enjoy life when I'm older.

You would be able to have that kind of regret at the time that you have seen yourself having no purpose on what you have bought. There are just that those times or moments that you do become having that immediate wanting or drolling out to buy something on which you dont actually need just because of some influence by other people on what makes you that trying out to buy something on which it is that very common for most people on having this kind of situation specially if you are having the money or simply being financially capable. So it will be that up to you on how you do adjust things accordingly and its better that you do really know on what are the things that you've been doing so that you do able to see yourself whether you have done the right thing or not.

If you don't set your priorities right, you will spend money on unnecessary things. There is something I learn from my parents, and it has been helpful to you, that thing is, don't be the type of being that likes flashy things. Go for the less flashy things and don't buy things that are reigning in the market because that won't help you to saved for the future because every beautiful thing you see, you like to buy it because of how beautiful they are.

Often , I buy things that are not important, maybe because I am a woman, I often buy cosmetics and household furniture, after I get home sometimes I regret buying it, and reflect on my finances, but unfortunately it will happen again if I have more money

Yeah, I totally get that. Sometimes we buy stuff just because it looks cool or others are into it, even if we don’t really need it. It happens to a lot of us, especially when we’ve got a bit of extra cash. What matters is that we learn from it and try to think twice next time before spending.

I get what you mean, as a woman i don't think it is bad to buy cosmetics, as long as you wear one, any woman who likes to wear cosmetics and can afford one, should do so. I know we should not be buying things we do not need, but we should not regret buying some basic stuffs, as long as they do not cost a fortune.

For me it's more like I buy smth because it was cheap or on sale without any research and then find out that a better brand had a better sale and in general, the whole thing was better. Then the item that I bought feels useless, and overpriced.
