The issue with us is that when we noticed that the price of a single commodity in the market has dropped in price we tend to celebrate on all aspects. I am sure that this price drop that you mentioned only affected a few commodities and yet it’s been generalized and this is also another aspect that the government is using against us.

If we ask for a good governance and that corruption should be tackle they’ll simply look for one thing to do and we all would instantly forget that we were advocating for a better system and economy. It’s actually sad to watch.

I get your point, and you are right that there has been a slight drop in price here and there over the past few months. But for many people, especially those earning the same salary or less , even the current prices are still a burden.  The price of gas going from #1400 to #1200  doesn't feel like a relief when salaries hasn't moved an inch.
The frustration comes from the fact that basic needs are still out of reach for a lot of people. Yeah things were a lot worse last year, but survival shouldn't feel a little less suffering. It should feel like progress, and that is the gap that a lot of us are feeling.

If it was a country where the system was actually working the way it was supposed to work then all these issues of price manipulation whatsoever won’t have been happening. The government, regulatory agencies and those in production or distribution are all to blame for it.

If the government makes provision for stuffs those in production won’t have had any avenue to manipulate prices by blaming it on increment of production price and also if the cost of production was okay then the regulatory agencies would be able to regulate the prices of things in the market but for now if they do it most of the people selling would no longer be interested in some businesses because they might incur losses after calculating the cost of getting the goods (all charges included).
