whether we get used to some of these news about Satoshi Nakamoto or nothing, the facts remains that many people will surely spread negative informations as a form of speculation to profit from it 
There are traders/investors out there who may like to creat panic on the crypto market for personal or group gains.
Bitcoin will always dump despite any negative news, it is not a big deal any more, it should be part of the market trends before now in my opinion.

Yeah, I agree on the perspective that it wouldn't matter anymore if his identity was actually identified and made known to the public. If he's alive and plans to sell his BTC holdings, maybe guys like Saylor would reach out to him and strike a deal (OTC). That might move the market a little bit but bitcoin will move on.

It's pretty obvious that Satoshi chooses to go off the grid and I don't think that he will re-surface. There were even news about his email lately, but then again, we all know that those are just shilling for a certain project and nothing really relates to him. The only way that we can proved it is that if someone can sign a message from those addresses. Or we never really know though if that is Satoshi Bitcoin address or not.

You don't need to be an expert to know that is not Satoshi. If that is Satoshi, then it could have a big effect on the market. And that's why he chooses to be anonymous so that he will not have any impact on this invention that he know that it will be in the good hands.

And even those who claim to be Satoshi hasn't had any proof that they are the man.

So let this argument rest, Satoshi is not going to show up even activated his supposedly bitcoin addresses.

Satoshi really created a huge impact that even a fake news on movement of his wallet made a big stir. More than moving his wallet, I think the news should be concentrating that he is alive and I would assume well and kicking but we know this is just another made-up kind of thing. Now, in case Satoshi Nakamoto will surface, he would surely announce it somewhere and maybe even contact someone in the government to guarantee his safety and be later on invited to the White House. I could not imagine the impact to Bitcoin if one day he would resurface back to Earth...for sure there will be more positive than negative. On my own estimate, the man could be dead by now or the name Satoshi Nakamoto is not actually a person but just a code for a group of personalities.

Like i did said on btt, I understand very well that newbies can likely attribute this type of stuff to Satoshi simply because the wallet in which those coins came from has been dormant for several years, and the chances are that they could be wrong or right, and this is because I believe no one is exactly sure of how many bitcoin wallet Satoshi owns, as a matter of fact, there is every possibility that the wallet the 500 bitcoin came or was moved from could be one of Satoshies many wallets..

I have not seen any where Satoshi listed or named the number of bitcoin wallet he owns, many of us are sure about just one wallet, what if they are much more than one?

Yes, news like this is news that we often hear and all of the news eventually disappears without leaving anything. It's not even just speculation that Satoshi is still alive, because there are also some people who are considered to be Satoshi.

I just posted on the BitcoinTalk about this very familiar topic because it’s really the same. I just don’t get the connection of it being Him if it’s not confirmed. Then why are you still talking about it? I mean, there’s no way to confirm or anything. It’s just that this is for discussion.

It's unfortunate that satoshi name is used to fuel sensationalist articles because the media need clicks, and people fall for it. I'm honestly more worried about MicroStrategy dumping on us instead of satoshi selling his old coins. Even if he's planning to sell his coins, he's not stupid enough to do it in a single tx or so.

Sadly people like to speculate the worst for some reason. I guess it doesn't help that the world looks bleak because too many things are happening right now, but jumping to conclusion is not the best choice imo.

Yes, we're used to hearing such false news about Satoshi, either for the purpose of market manipulation or because such news about Satoshi attracts the media and press, who start fabricating sensational stories to gain maximum views.

Personally, I've grown accustomed to denying any news related to Satoshi, whether about his true identity or the movement and transfer of the contents of Satoshi's wallets. Satoshi has a clear goal, and I don't believe he'll ever reveal his identity or move his wallet after all these years.

Yeah. I would go as far as assume news claiming that person X claim as Satoshi, Satoshi comes back and do X or Satoshi comes back and make claim X are fake by default. I hope most people have similar approach these days, especially after whole CSW issue that led COPA (group filled by many big tech/crypto) to sue him.

Been hearing hoaxes about Satoshi Nakamoto since I came on the other forum in 2016 and it keeps on popping that is why I don't care about all that because it's all baseless just a waste of time not unless the whole crypto community see  something unusual on the Legendary founders traces or whereabouts. This not something new it's been I think almost a decadeor more since I read and hear rumors like that.
