What if the airdrop is gone forever?

Hi, surely some of you are part of the airdrop lovers...

Many complain about airdrop payments that are not always in accordance with what is done... this is very detrimental to many people, and even some airdrops end in fraud... I am sure, many agree that now the percentage of airdrop success is very low to promote new projects... this is proven by the many projects that failed to launch and even ended in fraud.... the problems in the crypto world around airdrops have never met their end...

However, what comes to your mind spontaneously, when we encounter a moment where the airdorp suddenly disappears and there is no airdrop at all in the crypto space...

Is the crypto world getting worse? or will there be a big dispute when that happens? Or will the crypto space actually improve by reducing some other fraudulent methods...? Express your opinion on this... about what you would think when the crypto airdrop really disappears.

I believe that airdrops are far from over, as they are the method that most projects find to attract attention, reward users and reinforce the decentralization of a project
It should last a few more years, but I think it can always “revive” when there are good, decent projects worth investing in

Airdrops are also part of the cycle, where most altcoins are performing badly, and if there is an altseason, airdrops should improve considerably

There is no way airdrops will disappear. Projects use it as a tool to attract people and users, once there is a promise of airdrop, you find many people interested in the project. However, it does not always end on a good note for the participants, but you still see them running after the next airdrop.

There's a big help from airdrops; this is the way they promote their projects and introduce crypto. I saw many people today talking about crypto; the first thing they knew was some airdrops like Hamster Combat before they deeply explored crypto.

So if this is going to be gone in the future, new generations can't easily find the crypto world. However, since we're talking about fake projects and frauds, if airdrops are gone, it will help reduce scammers and falling into these schemes. It might also help to filter out scam and legit projects.

Nothing will happen as airdrops are not helping matters and in fact it's meaningless to me knowing to well that airdrops aren't that rewarding compared to before as many people have been saying about airdrop. Though I have also came across some post that speaks good about airdrop but nowadays people seems to be regretting about airdrop as it's a worthless effort.

I think as time goes by we can see improvements in the crypto space including airdrops. Fraudulent methods will always be there since the industry is decentralized those methods will still exist and it's up to people if they will fall for that kinda trap given the time they spent on the crypto industry so knowledge is a must really.

Oh, and there had been so many in the past and there can be even more into the future. These disappearing projects are so common all because here everything can just be experimental and if established platforms can come and go for many reasons the more neophyte ones have this tendency. Many are not getting the kind of response they are longing from from the market so they are forced to close shop (failure) and some are just outright scams pretending to be pure and exciting but will go into vacations and never come back once their bags are filled. I am getting used to so many failures and runaways that I am already expecting them from time to time. And this is one reason I decided to never use my money to invest with something new in this industry. Obviously, it is very disheartening to learn that your effort, time and even some money are gone to the trash can. Better be careful than sorry.

Airdrops have been around and evolved a lot in the crypto market. Many projects choose them to gain community support and reach more potential holders and investors. Right now, I can't think of any reason that could wipe airdrops off the crypto market, unless there's a harsh law that considers airdrops illegal and creates unfairness in the market.

Let's say airdrops no longer exist. Projects will need to spend on advertising through bounties, media, and other events on CEXs and within this market. Airdrop hunters will also disappear to become bounty hunters. Personally, I don't feel any difference because I haven't participated in airdrops for a long time. I need to work to get paid instead of betting on rewards from airdrops.

i do not think this will happen airdrops are a way of promotion and even if there is not much interest from investors, dev team might still want to use airdrops as a way to attract investors

it is a cycle investors will learn how to beat frauds but there will always be new methods that investors would not be aware of until it is normalized enough and people have learned enough how to beat the new methods maybe airdrops will just reinvent itself and turn into something else so that they can regain the attention of investors

Nothing? Look, airdrops do lure users to particular projects for a while but once airdrop is done, whether upto expectations or not, most users sell their tokens and move on to next. I agree that there tends to be hype and immense volume particularly if airdrop was good, but it's still nothing lasting.

Actually, you could express your prefer opinion in your comment. I am also agree with your prefer comment. Because we know that many of crypto currency users, can understand and knowing crypto space for this airdrop. So when it would be gone forever, i am also believe that it must be difficult for knowing crypto space. Because some new person was very interested to playing telegram game and acquire airdrop from there. So i think that it must be very helpful source for understand in cryptocurrency market properly.

If you notice the distributions of many tokens, the airdrop represents less than 10% of the distributions in most projects, so if it suddenly disappears, there won't be a significant change. From an investor's perspective, at best, you'll receive $500 from these distributions every few months, making them easy to replace.

Considering today's airdrop condition, i would argue there are more pros than the cons. These days most people would sell airdropped coin/token as soon as possible. It would cause price of the coin/token going down after launch, which seen negatively by some people. Most airdrop also allocate fixed amount of coin/token as airdrop reward regardless of total participant, so we won't see people got disappointed after wasting their energy, time and money (for certain airdrop tasks).

I would only be happy if airdrops would gone forever, considering what airdrops looks like today.

1. They used to be free tokens to use to test project or its products. Such concept never worked well. People immediately sold them. In addition there not so many new projects appear today.
2. They were used frequently to scam people.
3. In majority they were waste of time.
4. They often played a role of garbage on addresses. So many addresses are drawn in free distributed airdrops garbage.
