I'm not sure what kind of bot he asked. But if you searched about it on Google Search, with keyword such as "bot claim airdrop task", you'll find lots of bot that claim to automate claim and doing certain tasks. It appears to be real since there are news that report team behind airdrop take action against it, where sometimes it harm non-cheater. For example,

Stories when people receive thousands just for few clicks, when an aidrop turned into profitable and most generous even though nobody expected that, always motivated me to take parts in airdrops. But my motivation evaporates quickly, after numerous moment when I either receive nothing or wasted a lot of time in exchange for few cents. This all made me take a decision to skip airdrops at all. So many people have also taken the same decision, and in my honest opinion, it is the right one. I don't fancy the idea of spending your time on numerous airdrops, in the hope that one of them will somehow make you money someday, you don't even know when, or if it will ever happen.

Haha, mate, I also had the same expectation with aidrops just like you, I also used to join many airdrops but their rewards demotivate me a lot, then I do not take any part in all that After that, I also have heard many stories that motivate me a lot from my community but when I myself take part in farming airdrops their rewards remove my all motivation in a result.

Now I avoid joining them because it feel me just a waste of time, as you also may have idea that these airdrops take a lot of time on daily basis, and when they give nearly no rewards In result then it obvioulsy discouraging thing.

It's just that there have been a few airdrops that have rewarded a lot of users, with a lot of tokens and “a few clicks” as you say
But there are only a few airdrops that are so out of the curve, the others and the vast majority are regular

I would say that Arbitrum and Jito were the airdrops that gave the most tokens with the least possible effort
At Jito, users earned thousands of dollars by simply staking SOL, and it didn't even have to be much coins

Based only on these extraordinary airdrops, it can be frustrating to even put in the effort to win 100 or 200 dollars at most

Being active is very important if you don’t want to miss out on important updates about the market and also on opportunities that will make you some cool money when you partake in them. They may not require you to do some vigorous task but with the little you’ve done, you may be awarded big for it. The market is always unpredictable and it’s also important that you make a lot of research on what you want and partake in, it’ll help you further reduce your energy and time you’ll spend in projects that will be worth nothing and would have taken most of your precious time.

I worked on the airdrop just to fill my spare time so I missed a lot of airdrops from various airdrop channels on Telegram.
I also don't expect to get money from airdrops because I think that working on airdrops is full of scams and not worth it.

I want to live a relaxed life and enjoy my free time to fill airdrops with relaxation, money is not a problem.

However, usually the capital needed will be returned, such as staking or just holding... they don't actually take your money, but they filter so that there are no more violations, considering that currently there are so many airdrop participants who always use multiple accounts to participate in one free airdrop... but if there is a policy to hold or stake a certain amount, it will reduce it.... that's good for the airdrop ecosystem, because the quality will be more controllable.

It is good to be active in the crypto industry, you learn a lot of things and different ways to secure your funds and to earn as well. However, i would not recommend that people should be active in the crypto industry chasing airdrops, i know that people do it, but it does not make too much sense to me.

I have a principle of wanting to live comfortably, relaxed and peacefully. I don't want to seem forced to work on Airdrop.
This point is what I really hope for in this crypto business because I want to live freely without being burdened by work, especially since this airdrop job is like a freelance job that can be done anytime according to our wishes.
I was also disappointed with the HAMSTER airdrop when I was hit by FOMO in crypto and immediately registered an account on this altcoinstalks. It turned out that I was wrong in working on the HAMSTER airdrop because the value was not comparable to the work on the task, even the value of 3 popcorn kernels was more valuable than the HAMSTER airdrop.

Airdrops rely on 3 things... or at least it heavily relies on it, and that are:
1. Active participation
2. Money you're spending.
3. Referrals.

Airdrops aren't about luck, and this isn't 2021 anymore. Airdrops in 2021 are very different now in 2025. Most of the airdrops right now require investors to put some money from their own pocket to increase the number of tokens that they're getting. There isn't any luck involve. Some of the projects right now requires the investors to buy some NFT to have a higher allocation of the tokens.

I'll give an example. Let's say I invested $1000 to a particular project, bought those NFTs to increase my allocation, and there's a random participant who didn't invest at all. So, you're saying that that participant that didn't invest money at all still has a chance of getting a higher allocation compared to me who invested money on it? That isn't the case anymore LOL. You put some money, the higher the allocation.

Airdrop hunting is worth it sometimes, but sometimes, it's nothing more than a waste of time, and I say this by experience. I also tried doing airdrop hunting for a few months because a lot of friends had told me that it's profitable and you can get good money from them sometimes, so I tried it, spent time and money on multiple airdrops, but got nothing promising from any of them and that made me realize that I was just wasting my time and money, and even if I manage to get something from one of them later on, it's not worth it after losing so much money and time in the previous ones.

I somehow agree with you that airdrop hunting is mostly about luck, and those who try in each airdrop might manage to get something some time but only someone who has a lot of free time and extra funds can do that unless they only take part in free ones which are even a bigger waste of time.

Yeah, that is another disadvantage of hunting airdrops, many times even if you get something, it is completely worthless. The reason why i don't recommend it is that the industry has evolved so much in recent years and there are so many worthy ways to benefit from the current situation, so i think it is unwise to chase after things that are most times worthless.
