I tried using Thorchain but it was long time ago and things probably changed since than.
I also know that eXch exchange used Throchain for a while so it is legit project, but beware that some exchanges can freeze coins coming from thorchain.
It's better to withdraw coins to your personla wallet first before sending them to other third party centralized exchange.
Back in the 2021 season, Thorchain was super popular thanks to RUNE's impressive price surge from 0.01 USD all the way up to 20 USD! I remember even wanting to invest in RUNE myself, but I never really had a need to use the blockchain. Then, after the Bybit hack, everyone started talking about Thorchain again as a really effective way to mix tokens.
The cool thing about Thorchain is that it's a crosschain protocol, so it can work super flexibly with crypto assets across lots of different chains. THORSwap is the most well-known DEX in its ecosystem, and when you compare it to other DEXs out there, it does have relatively higher transaction fees because each swap needs two original transactions. Plus, the transaction speed depends on the block confirmation times of the original chains, and the liquidity isn't huge yet because its market share is still small and there's a limited range of crypto assets.
