Ongoing Scam Exposed: Popular Crypto Streamers Yolo, Insyder Crypto, Hotted, and Ratwizard Are Scamming Followers Through Meme Coins

Over the past several months, I’ve been closely tracking the actions of a well-connected group of popular online crypto streamers: Yolo, Insyder Crypto, Hotted, and Ratwizard. While each has built a large following by streaming what appears to be successful cryptocurrency trading, I have uncovered a deeply concerning scam operation that has already cost unsuspecting viewers tens of thousands — potentially even millions — of dollars.

The Setup
These streamers operate on a 24/7 rotation, with at least one of them live at any given time. Their content centers around trading meme coins — often obscure, recently launched tokens that appear to skyrocket in value on-stream. They claim to find “the next big thing” and encourage viewers to jump in early before the supposed gains.

The Scam
Here’s how their operation works, based on my detailed tracking of their activities and confirmed Solana wallet transactions:

They develop and launch their own meme coins under various names, none of which are tied to reputable projects.

Before announcing anything publicly, they load up on the coins using private wallets — wallets that are not shown or acknowledged on-stream.

Once their own positions are secured, they begin promoting the coin heavily on their streams, showing off staged profits, fabricated price action, and hyped enthusiasm.

As viewers buy in, the value of the token rises — artificially pumped by hype — allowing the streamers to dump their holdings for massive profits.

This causes the token's value to collapse. Victims are left holding worthless coins, and the streamers casually dismiss it with phrases like “That’s how the market goes.”

This isn’t a one-time scheme — it’s an ongoing, coordinated effort, repeated with different tokens, different narratives, and always the same result: viewers lose money, while the streamers walk away richer.

The Evidence
I’ve been tracking the group’s Solana wallets for weeks, documenting clear patterns of insider trading, synchronized pumps, and rapid withdrawals. Each streamer uses multiple wallets, likely to obscure the flow of funds. The main wallets are shown on-screen to maintain the illusion of transparency, but the real action happens in the background — via hidden wallets loaded just before the public dumps.

I’ve since hired a professional crypto investigator who is actively tracing their on-chain activity and working to identify their real-world locations for appropriate legal action. This is no longer just unethical — it's potentially criminal behavior, involving fraud, market manipulation, and theft.

A Call to Action
If you’ve lost money from investing in coins promoted by Yolo, Insyder Crypto, Hotted, or Ratwizard — you’re not alone. This group is relying on the fast-paced nature of crypto to avoid scrutiny, but that stops here. I urge anyone who has been affected to come forward and share your story. Together, we may be able to gather enough evidence to pursue legal recourse and hold these individuals accountable.

Feel free to contact me directly if you have information or losses to report. The internet must be made aware of this coordinated scam — and these streamers must be stopped.

As cryptocurrency investor or trader we should be very mindful on the kind of people we should follow on twitter (X) or how they post information about coin especially meme coin, I wouldn't be that fooled that to start jumping from coin to coin to make sure I secure profits for myself. Investing in bitcoin alone is enough for me than to follow any famous investor or trader out there, because most of them are so selfish in a way that they are only interested to what comes into them as profits than those following, most times they go buy a dying coin and post about it that it would get to specific amount after which he go manipulate the price and people rush to invest and they he cashes out good profits from the investment.

the thing is a lot of people are too lazy to make research for themselves and always want to just follow whoever they idolize but even your most favorite influencers you have to be suspicious of

do not fall victim to this kind of scams where it is easily avoidable because they are not forcing anyone to invest it is all up to you if you want to believe them or not do not blindly follow the people you follow especially you do not know them beyond what they show you through the screen

It is good to always careful about who you follow and how they post especially when it comes to those meme coins. There is big chance that some people are just trying to scam or promoting only help them. Your plan to mostly focus on Bitcoin and not jump from one meme coin to another trying to make fast money is good idea. Bitcoin has been around for while and has stronger base compared to meme coins which mostly just based on hype.

You are also right to be suspicious of some of famous people in crypto. Sometimes they may just trying to pump up coins they already own so they can make profit without really caring about people who follow them. It is important to do own research and think for yourself and do not follow what other people say. Making your own smart investment choices is best way to keep your money safe.

          -    Indeed, I can only add to what you said mate, that the people who will not understand what you are saying are those communities that have greed in their nature so they will still fall victim to their greed.

That is why some of our comrades always tell us as a reminder to always be vigilant so that we do not fall victim to those scammers. Let us just remember that we are smart so we should be smarter than them and not show that they can easily fool us.

it should also be a lesson to those who listen to these streamers trying to sell their useless tokens. so many have been launched before their tokens and it always end up worthless.

the only reason it got volume is they fabricate that buying and selling in the market. but newbies are not seeing it this way though because they believe they can make money out of these memecoins being an early bird in investing on it. which these streamers have put it in their minds.

Almost new crypto members face this kind of problem because they join different telegram groups for trading signals and many of them pay for it. Some people follow different posts from x and get hurt by investing. We should be very aware of the type of people we should follow so we should value our own experience more. Nowadays, the hype of a project is created through x so we should not jump to invest just by seeing any post. Suppose if you always buy the best higher currency then there will be no need to invest in new currency. Your interest will increase every time you follow a post from x so it is important to be careful in everything.
