Building wealth in trading slowly, or fast through the use of leverage

Hi ya all, I just want to find out from you guys which is proven to be more effective overtime, or is it completely about who's lucky and who's not?

I am talking about choosing to build wealth slowly through the use of low leverage while trading...
And also choosing to join the fast lane to building your wealth by the use of high leveraged trading..

You know, someone told me that Trading is like owning a fast car, and you are to travel on a journey, you have a destination (goal), and maybe there is also a set time at which the event happening in your destination starts so you need to be there on tim (a set time to achieve your goal)..

While on the trip, you can choose to drive slow, or drive fast...
Drive slow - you have a better chances of arriving at your destination safely but you might be late..
Drive Fast - you have a better chances of arriving at your destination really early, but you might crash on the way even before you get to your destination.

Liken the above analogy to trading...
Leverage is your fast car , while trading, you can choose low leverage (slow speed), or high leverage (fast speed) both have their advantages and disadvantages, but I want to know, between this two, which guarantees better success rate overall and overtime?

There is a saying that goes Slow and steady wins the race and another says Fast and consistent will always beat the slow and steady of which they are both true. But when it comes to trading, there are precaution measures that must be looked out for, and this will determine if the journey ends successfully (for both fast and slow/low and high leverage) or there will be accident on the way.

If there is no competition between these two traders or a certain target placed to be reached within a stipulated period of time, the slow/low leverage is safer, which will prevent blowing up the account or having accident on the journey embarked on.

Both newbie traders and professionals can use any of these two, it only depends on how good and fast the person can be to make his/her moves in every swing the market will throw on the way. For me, I will use the slow/low leverage, to avoid blowing sky-high my account.

There's one thing I know for sure: there is no latecomer to success, and at any point when you become successful, there will be individuals who are there to congratulate you. You do not need to be in a hurry to become successful from trading, especially as a new trader, by choosing high leverages.

Slow and steady can still get you there.

As a matter of facts, there is no hurry in life, and just like the saying goes, " Rome was not built in a day", Slow but steady wins the race.
Now, just like i have mentioned, a trader with low leverage is my preferred trading strategy, this is because there are bound to be uncertainty on the crypto market at intervals. The unexpected may happen, for example, market dumps, a situation which almost all traders/investors never considered when taking a buy positions are there as the biggest trading/investing risks over times.

In a nutshell, the low leverage trading guarantees greater success rates overtimes.

I don't think if there is a really an advantage for low leverage trading if we compare it to high leverage trading. You can calculate how much money you will risk no what the leverage is. That's what I learned in trading, before I wonder why some traders chose to use 50x leverage than to 5x leverage. 50x leverage is far attractive than those 5x, they just don't know the fact that when their stop loss got hit, they just losing the same amount of money. In other words, they just making the same profit, so for me it doesn't matter whether you choose high leverage or low as long as you manage your risk.

From your analogy you made a every good points and of course, if you look at what you explained you would see that the low leverage is more better than using the high leverage to trade. I don't think you should be using higher leverage while trading because the higher the leverage the higher your lose, while the lower the leverage the lower your risk of losing your capital.
I don't think there is anything to rush about trading rather it is better we gradually trade it to accumulate more profits than rushing to trade and lose all at times.

This is an interesting analogy. I agree that there is an approach to what you want to do in life, and if you want to be rich, trading can be one of them. The question is, would you go fast or slow? I like this.

Anyway, this is somewhat what I am struggling to have right now, and I believe that it sometimes fluctuates between what I want and what I know I need. It becomes gambling now with the unknown risk that the market offers.

I think consistency gives the probability of winning more instead of losing, but it's a boost to have higher leverage, and that's another gamble.

Yes, this is indeed true on which it doesnt matter on whic way you would be trying out to deal on with but for me on which using up high leverage is something that could be that getting in line with gambling and this isnt that i do really want to deal into or something on which im comfortable on doing with. For those  who do able to make money with higher leverage then its good but most of the time people will be sticking out into those slow but surely kind of approach when dealing up with this space. You are the ones who do made out such decisions on which you do seem that it will be that effective for you. Its recommended that you should be sticking on where you do find yourself that having that confidence or on where you do see yourself that effective.

Your comment is appropriate in this time. So i am also agree with your prefer comment. We know that trading is one of the best earning way in cryptocurrency market. But when we want to trade, we should understand in cryptocurrency market carefully. We obviously believe that for best trading low leverage is better high leverage. We know that trading knowledge is one of the best way for earn best profit in cryptocurrency market. So i think that if we use low leverage for trading, i think that it must be helpful for us.

Fast is not good, no one can ever do anything good and if he wants to make big profits very quickly from trading. Because to make big profits very quickly, you must do leverage trading and leverage trading is completely gambling. It is very easy to lose money here because high leverage will drain your funds very quickly or you can make profits several times your funds very quickly. No one should ever try to succeed very quickly, be it from trading or any other sector. Because slow success always lasts. What you get very quickly will never long last.

This is a really good example, but keep in mind that when we drive fast we are not only risking our life but the live of all the passengers too which means if we go down in our future we take down our family too, it always affect them but if you have kept your emergency funds aside for them or have multiple source of income, like safety measures, they are already in place.

Then driving fast can't be a problem. This all depends on the caliber of the person, if they can drive fast, they will do it, but at some point the market or the road will force them to be slowed down and at such point if they don't brake in time there can be accidents.

futures market is not for everyone though. if it is, we would have been there trading.

there's perpetual futures market that might just be an equivalent in holding your coins for as long as you can but if the market goes against your position you will still be liquidated. this is why the market is very unpredictable because it dumps fast and also rises so fast.

          -     I am happy with the driving part even if it is slow, because we all have only one destination and that is the finish line, it is better that while we drive on the road we are taking, it is better that we enjoy every step we take and appreciate those things that can provide help or contribution so that we can complete our journey.

It seems that when eating food, it is better that we chew it well so that we can appreciate and get the right nutritions that it can give to our body and what is really delicious is better than if we just swallow it immediately without even crushing its nutrition properly so the same goes for the crypto industry we are in.
