Are exchange rewards true?

I have been seeing some invites to earn events from exchanges, and I want to know what you guys think.

The price pool attached to most of the events is amazing, and I am wondering if the exchanges will truly give that out as rewards just for referring people to their platform. If it is true, then it is just a way I can get some free rewards, especially now that I need to increase some of my altcoin holdings.

If you have participated in them before and you got rewarded, you can please share how you did it and your opinion on this.

It’s funny that i got onboarded into the crypto space and started using my first exchange because of a friend who joined a referral program. Although, he didn’t tell at first but told me weeks later when he got the reward. So yeah, these exchanges do give rewards, i realized it’s their way to get more users and expand their community. I find it interesting as it’s a win-win situation for both the participants and the exchange.
