That's terrible news. I am sorry for your loss. We should certainly work on our plans, we should not wait for old age because death can come to anyone at anytime, therefore if we are investing for long term, then we should give the details not all but minor, to our friends, mother or father whom we could trust with our money.

We should not trust anyone who says they will do anything for you but in the end they are the first one to refuse, we should chose wisely here. I agree, that one is a very big risk when one keeps everything to themselves. It also means many of families lose control over things they could deal with proficiently because no one is aware. You can have everything well arranged, but no one has the keys and it becomes useless when your hour is up. Telling people that you trust is a form of loving people in my own view but this is invisible love. Also it is not only the dollar figure on the line but the intention to ensure that upon passing through this institution , there is no creation of a cloud of confusion. And there is no guarantee in our life when we can do that. I lost a friend this week; he was meant to be 30 years old today, but he died a few days before his birthday today and was actually buried today. Accept my sincerest condolences, we should know that death is inevitable, when the call of nature calls, age doest matter, I think at all time, we should as humans plan for eventuality because it is a thing we wouldn't know where it will meet us but we don't pray for any sudden death.

Well we all will die and just like we figure out about how our other assets will be put to use after our deaths, we do regularly check on our crypto as well. It might sound okay to reveal important information to family about how to access any crypto in any wallet or exchanges we hold. I agree with you too, but ultimately, no one knows what tomorrow holds, whether that your loved one you so much trust with your asset will die before you or die the same time with you, but whatever the same might be, sharing your assets with your loved ones have a good benefit and the advantages are usually more than the disadvantages. One of the worries or disadvantages could be in a case of disappointments where such loved persons disappoint you by bridging the trust that binded you, through stealing of your assets or so. In any ways, such incidents are minimal with our loved ones as they're expected to always protect our interests instead of doing otherwise.
