Some people may speak against deadlines, but deadlines have actually helped some individuals achieve some targets they set for themselves earlier on. The idea that some people have from having a deadline is that they need to do what needs to be done and do it on time. That mindset pushes them into achieving their goal faster than someone who does not have a time frame that they have planned to achieve a certain goal.

No doubt about that since some successful people live by the deadline rules. Some say "see you guys after five years" and magic happens after that time though some need to extend few more but the thing is atleast they keep on trying and being consistent. Some say "I need to make millions at the age of this and that" and they made it but some also failed. It always depend upon the situation. Deadlines are also important because it reminds us of our progress whether we are consistent or not or are we able to achieve it or not.

no matter how high up the number of your age is, there can still be positive things ahead i have met some people who only really found their happiness at their 50s or 60s not to say they weren’t happy before but even through tough times they go through it and eventually found long lasting happiness

... sometimes we might not exactly achieve what we wanted at a certain age but this does not mean that life is over you can always get back up, dust yourself off and try to achieve what you want to no matter what the age

You are right but it does get bit weird if you are past a certain age. Back when I was in college, there was a middle aged man who studied to complete his degree, which was sure possible and he did complete, but it still felt out of place to us and I am sure he also felt the way.
