I don't believe it's right to say, "keeps everyone in slavery"— there are financially wise people who make money work for them, and everyone has choice to be better with money matters so they stop being slaves after earning money.

Not everyone, I agree that it keeps people in slavery but not everyone, only the poor, the middle class and those who wish to be enslaved by it. Not everyone worships money, although no one can overemphasize the importance of money in our day to day lives, but there are those who actually worship it, by worshipping it, I mean people who can do anything just to get it, by so they allow money enslave them, those are the ones who truly slaves to money, not everyone.

There was this book I read, "the richest king in Babylon" I actually love how the author of that book defined what money is. "Money is plentiful to those that have the knowledge to earn and multiplay it, money is use to satisfy the desires of man of good things are acquired". So, like you say, money is really something that puts one in the state of belonging and being capable to get what you want as long as it's something that money can afford.

Beyond using money to solving of our daily problems and needs money is one thing that is really needed to make life easy for us but money is now a slave to many as it has kept people working for it day and night in my opinion I would rather describe money as our slave because if you really have invested well with your money and begins growing it you will find out that money is something that really works for people who actually know how to use money
