Both.
for me, bounty, other than to gain free token, is to force myself to keep informed for the project development.  and if i like the main concept and the project is likely to gain hardcap. i will spend money as an investment.

For me bounty is also some kind of investment except not in fiat but in service. I only do bounty for ico that I believe have good future and use case. Like investing in fiat, I also do a lot of research and checl out thoroughly the ico project I'm going ro participate.

What kind of investment do you mean? ICO? or Altcoins and bitcoin? If you mean investing in an ICO i don’t usually participate in it because it is too risky to invest because of scam issues. However i prefer on bounties because it can give me profit without investing my own money.

I have already all my money for cryptos. Nowadays I like bounties because some of them are really high quality projects. Even though you may end up getting a small piece of the project you can earn a lot. Be careful while picking your bounty project though

For me, I can do this both especially in a project which conducts bounty campaign then you could manage to invest while joining its campaign to helps its promotion.

I prefer to choose bounty campaign over investment because in bounties we can earn more token without our own money as capital.

I like to have many investments in cryptocurrency and since I don't have enough money to start investing I will prefer first to earn token from the bounty as my way to get funds for my investment.

I love to invest. I read about different kinds of ICO's. I don't rush into ICO's, I read about 5 ICO's a week and only invest in one of them.
